Remember the "entertainment device" that Google has reportedly been testing out at employees' homes? Well, it looks like El Goog could be rolling that same kit out to the retail market sooner than we thought.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Google could push a product later this year used to stream music wirelessly throughout peoples' homes. What's more, it's said that this device will be sold under Google's brand, making it the first full-Google device to reach the consumer market. Read More
Mobile gaming giant Gameloft has released yet another new title to the Android Market, and this time it's a soccer simulator: Real Soccer 2012. The game packs impressive graphics and customization options, and is even licensed by FIFPRO - meaning real players and leagues are used. Perhaps one of the most impressive features, though, is the ability to replay real-life games through an in-game news feed.
The official market description:
Real Soccer is back for the new season, bringing soccer on mobile to a new era!
Everyone hates junk mail, right? I'm not talking about spam emails you get in your inbox on a daily basis, which you may not even notice if you're using Gmail. I'm talking about those pesky paper ads that arrive over snail mail almost every single day, burying the lone letters you do actually care about in an ocean of, well, crap.
Last week, I ran into a website called http://www.yellowpagesoptout.com which finally let me opt out of the 1500-pound Yellow Book. Read More

Yes, we were excited too, but it looks like owners of Verizon's LTE Xoom still have to wait a bit for ICS. The tablet is about to receive a software update (HLK75H) "soon". Verizon's support page doesn't specify when. There's not much to the update, though. Your tablet will now support dual International Mobile Subscriber Identities (IMSI), as well as a bugfix for restoring data connectivity after exiting Airplane Mode.
In other words, this update is for the subset of the already small group of people who own Verizom Xooms that use their tablets for frequent international travel. Read More
