What We Use, 2018 Edition: The stuff Rita can't live without

It's been four years since I shared with you all the gadgets and quirky things that I own and love in my previous What We Use post. In the time since, a lot has changed in my personal life. In between selling drugs and counseling patients, I sit back at my desk, clean up hundreds of emails a day, write a few posts, virtually shout at the entire team if they miss an Oxford comma, and come up with silly or inappropriate jokes.

Moto E5 Play Android Go edition announced for Europe and Latin America

Back in April, Motorola announced six phones on the same day - three with the G6 nameplate, and three with the E5 name. Apparently that wasn't enough, though, because Motorola has just announced a Moto E5 Play Android Go edition. And confusingly enough, it doesn't appear to share much with the standard Moto E5 Play.

Hangouts Meet will entirely replace Hangouts video calls for G Suite users in May

Since Google decided to split Hangouts into separate apps for chat and calls with a renewed focus on business users, the video conferencing app Meet has coexisted with good old Hangouts video. As of May 21st, that will no longer be the case and Meet will take over all face-to-face communications when a meeting is scheduled in Google Calendar.
