PUBG Mobile 0.15.0 update adds a Payload mode, tweaks Survive Till Dawn, and improves performance

Last month I covered the release of the 0.14.5 update for PUBG Mobile, and it appears it's time once again to pore through the latest patch. The 0.15.0 update brings with it a new Payload mode (though it's not live yet), an update to the Survive Till Dawn - Halloween mode, as well as enhancements like a new mid-air leap, new vehicles, new weapons, exploding fuel drums, and performance enhancements. While I can't say this update is as monumental as Fortnite's latest Chapter release, it's understandable that you can't always expect huge changes to PUBG Mobile every month.

Marvel Realm of Champions is the followup to Contest of Champions, coming to Android in 2020

Kabam and Netmarble are teaming up once again with Marvel to bring a new real-time RPG to Android. This title is known as Marvel Realm of Champions, and it will serve duty as the followup to Marvel Contest of Champions. It's expected to land sometime in 2020. Apparently, Realm of Champions will offer a reimagining of the Marvel Universe that's set on Battleworld, a forbidden planet hidden behind the Space-Time Barrier recently disrupted by the death of Maestro, the God-King. This results in a universe-wide battle themed around the Secret Wars event from 1984.

Lock's Quest is the latest tower defense game on the Play Store, and it's a premium release

Lock's Quest was originally a Nintendo DS tower defense game released in 2008, and it eventually made its way to consoles and PC in 2017. This means the game was originally a premium release with an upfront price, and a mobile port just arrived on the Play Store for $7.99 without any in-app purchases or advertisements in tow, retaining the title's fair monetization. While reviews are currently mixed on the Steam listing, it's still nice to see a new premium port arrive on Android.

Fake Google Maps listings weaponized to kill real businesses, confuse you

For as long as Google Maps (and other digital mapping services) have existed, there have been fake listings. The most notable example was a scam where a centralized operation would mass-produce fake locksmith listings advertising low rates, then jacking up prices as poor sods left out of house or car get desperate. These days, the directory battlefield has expanded across different high-cost industries with devastating tactics deployed against businesses and the public while placing livelihoods on the line.
