[Update: S10e too] Official TWRP support now available for Exynos Galaxy S10 and S10+

When the Galaxy S9 and S9+ debuted last year, TWRP support for Exynos models became available that same day. Things have taken a little longer for the Galaxy S10, but the recovery is now officially available for the Exynos S10+ model. Owners of the regular S10 and the S10e will have to sit tight.

Magisk developer John Wu picks up internship at Apple

Among Android root and ROM enthusiasts, the name John Wu is well known, being attached to the developer responsible for Magisk. Wu's systemless root solution has had a blistering development pace, repeatedly beating Google when it comes to the cat and mouse game imposed by SafetyNet and other system changes. But today the 23-year-old developer has announced a surprising career move: He's going to be an intern at Apple for the next four months.

LG makes V50 kernel source code available ahead of release

Windows 10 ported to OnePlus 6T, complete with Modern Warfare 2

Qualcomm has been building laptop processors for a while now, designed for always-on Windows 10 ultraportables. Now that an ARM version of Windows 10 is widely available and works with Snapdragon processors, the gates have opened for porting the operating system to smartphones. @NTAuthority on Twitter already demoed Windows 10 on a Pixel 3 XL, but now they have ported it to the OnePlus 6T.

In a series of tweets and replies, NTAuthority showed off the touchscreen working, with many applications (including Google Chrome) fully functional. The most impressive demo was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 running on the phone, using Windows' built-in x86 emulation compatibility layer.

LineageOS updates nine phones to Pie, brings back support for Nvidia Shield Tablet

LineageOS is one of the most popular custom Android ROMs around, with somewhere around two million active installations. Since the last time we covered the project, nine more phones have been updated to the Android 9 Pie branch, and the Nvidia Shield Tablet has made a comeback.
