Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless review: Top of the class

German company Sennheiser has a sterling reputation for creating high-quality audio products, so I was understandably enthused when I learned they were making a pair of true wireless earbuds. These products have improved a great deal since they first burst onto the scene, but they still tend to lag behind wired equivalents in terms of sound and can’t compete with bulkier Bluetooth sets in battery life.

Since Sennheiser is pretty late to the true wireless game, you would hope its engineers have taken their time to craft something superior to the many rival products already on the market. As it turns out, that’s not far from the truth.

Insta360 One X review: A luxury 360-degree action camera worth the splurge

Depending on the tech circle you're in, 360 cameras may either be the most superfluous fad or the coolest thing. I used to be in the former camp and my LG 360 Cam collected dust in a drawer for years, but over the past months, I've found a new appreciation for the product category. It's partly thanks to the number of cool "tiny planet" creators I follow on Instagram, but most importantly, it's because of a shift in my understanding of what a 360-degree camera can do.

If you think that these cams are only good for photospheres and VR, you're missing out.

Android Police's 2018 Smartphone of the Year is the OnePlus 6T

Android Police often does picks for our top smartphones of any given year - and you can see those phones right here in our 2018 “Most Wanted” article. But this year, we’ve decided to single out one device for attention in particular. The smartphone we thought did most to change the game. To go above and beyond competitors and offer a unique and compelling experience to buyers. And, crucially, that we felt constituted a reasonable value in doing so (that’s not to say it needed to be inexpensive, but that its price was justifiable).

After the editorial staff cast its votes, a winner emerged: the OnePlus 6T - narrowly beating out the Pixel 3.

Sensibo Sky review: A pricey but near-perfect smart controller for your air conditioner (Update: Discount coupon)

If you live in a house with no central climate control, or if you're making an expansion to your house and it's impossible to get a ducted system in place, a ductless setup may be your only hope. Nest, Ecobee, and the dozen other smart thermostats we often talk about aren't compatible with ductless systems, so you have to start thinking creatively if you want connected climate control. The solution comes in the form of small units that can send the same infrared signals as an air conditioner's (AC) remote, but that are themselves WiFi-enabled for remote access.

Most Wanted: Android Police's pick for Most-Improved OEM in 2016 is HTC, for the HTC 10

After a fair bit of discussion, we've decided that if there's one manufacturer in 2016 that stepped up its game across the board, it's HTC. And, of course, we think that step up was embodied in the HTC 10.

HTC has gone through something of a rough patch since its release of the One M7 back in 2013. The M8 and M9 were nowhere near as highly-regarded, and the stale design language of the phones left many fans and critics thinking HTC had lost its way. The One M9, in particular, seemed a low point. It had a mediocre display, subpar camera, middling battery life, and didn't even feature a fingerprint scanner.
