After a slightly shaky release window, Samsung’s made good on its promises to add once-missing features like the Google Assistant through updates. Nearly a year after launch, I’m still regularly using the thing — and thanks in part to Samsung keeping its word, I still love it.

We know Samsung's working on the One UI Watch 4.5 update for its Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic — there's an ongoing beta program, after all. That beta program has revealed a lot about upcoming software changes, but today, we're getting an even better look: leaker Evan Blass has shared screenshots of what he says is the "official" OneUI 4.5.
The Pixel 6 Pro had a troubled release window with notable bugs and delayed updates, but the past few months have been smooth sailing, and the phone is still one of our favorites. Earlier this year, Google rolled out a workaround for the way iPhones handle message reactions sent to Android phones: its Messages app now interprets the reactions as emojis rather than text, saving space on screen and making for an all-around smoother experience. Perhaps inspired by Google's approach, iOS 16 is making a similar change to group texts. While conversations that include Android phones still don't have full access to iMessage features, including an Android user in a group text will no longer cause so-called Tapback spam.
