By now, you've probably already heard about several Note7s exploding due to battery issues. Due to this, Samsung issued a recall for all Galaxy Note7s, halted sales, and stopped shipments. As part of this global recall, Samsung has created a product exchange program for Note7 owners in the United States.

I won that Bingle Bear Android figure from AP almost a year before I started working here.

Verizon has released an update for both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge that adds some features and bug fixes. FM radio support, which was added to other carrier models several months ago, is now available on Verizon S7 and S7 edges. In addition, Samsung now includes a built-in barcode scanning app called Barcode Beaming Service.

T-Mobile Tuesdays program has had its fair share of hiccups, but all things considered, getting stuff for free every week is better than getting nothing. Next Tuesday (September 6th) will bring a partnership with Subway that will allow every T-Mobile Tuesdays participant to pick up a free 6-inch oven-roasted chicken sub from Subway. The usual partnerships with Wendy's (free small Frosty), Lyft ($15 ride credit), and VUDU (free movie rental) will continue for Tuesday the 6th.

Afraid of damaging your shiny new Note7's rear glass panel? Is your Nexus 6P's back all scratched up because of how slippery it is? Hate how much bulk cases add? Well, if so, you should check out dbrand, because their skins will reduce slipperiness and hide blemishes on your precious tech.

After many, many delays with the Turing Phone, it seems like Turing Robotic Industries (TRI) is back, but with far, far more outlandish claims. In a mailing list newsletter, CEO Steve Chao announced a new phone as part of The Outer Blueprint, a program by TRI to integrate artificial intelligence into smartphones.

We already knew a bunch of stuff about ZTE's Axon 7 mini thanks to this leak from over a month ago and this leak from a few days ago, but now it's official. The creatively-named Axon 7 mini has, unfortunately, had a specs decrease from the Axon 7, but it still seems like a solid mid-ranger.

Acer has launched three Android smartphones at IFA—the Iconia Talk S, the Liquid Z6, and the Liquid Z6 Plus. All of them are more budget-oriented, but they're quite different from each other.

Lenovo has announced the Yoga Tab 3 Plus, a mid-sized tablet that the company claims is better than a portable television, at IFA in Berlin. The Chinese company is specifically touting the Tab 3 Plus's screen and audio.

After some teasing in weeks prior, Samsung has taken the wraps off the Gear S3 at IFA. Although the Gear S2 was already a potent smartwatch, the Gear S3 adds a host of new features that make it even more competitive with Android Wear's crop of offerings, including the just-announced ASUS ZenWatch 3.

One week after Google officially released Android 7.0 Nougat, ASUS has finally upgraded the ZE551ML model of the ZenFone 2 to 6.0 Marshmallow. ASUS had originally promised that the ZenFone 2 would receive Marshmallow before the end of Q2 2016, but that deadline was clearly ignored.

About a year and a half ago, Corning first announced Project Phire, a hybrid between Gorilla Glass and sapphire. The project aimed to bring Gorilla Glass's drop protection and sapphire's extreme scratch resistance together to create an extremely durable display glass. Now, the company has introduced Gorilla Glass SR+, the result of Project Phire's research, for wearable use.

If you've forgotten about ASUS's ZenFone Zoom, I don't blame you. After it was announced in January 2015, it took over a year for it to be launched in the good ole US of A at a not-unreasonable price of $399. Now though, you can pick one up from B&H for $35 less than the MSRP and get a ZenWatch 2, a $50 B&H gift card, and a 10,050mAh battery thrown in at no extra cost.

Qi wireless charging isn't on many 2016 flagships, but it's still an awesome thing to have. The ability to plunk down your phone when you go to sleep and wake up to a fully charged device doesn't sound like much, but it's a godsend when you're tired. Now, you can pick a Choetech USB Type-C wireless charger up for just .99 with a coupon code. You might be wondering why you'd want a wireless charger that uses a USB-C cable; after all, the new standard's major selling points are reversibility and data transfer speed, both of which don't really matter for wireless chargers. However, consider a phone like the Galaxy Note7—it comes with both Qi wireless charging and a Type-C port. If you're a Note7 owner who can't live without wireless charging and travels frequently, you'll only need to bring one USB-C cable and this Choetech wireless charger on your trips. If you bring any other wireless charger, you'll also have to lug a microUSB cable around. Annoying, right? There's also the fact that $9.99 is pretty cheap for any wireless charger, and you'll also get a USB Type-C cable (it's still difficult to find a good one). Currently, we only have a code for the 7.5W charger, but we'll update this article if we snag any codes for the 10W fast charger. Update: 10W fast charger code available.

If you're in the market for a phablet with an amazing selfie cam (God, I hate myself for using those terms), you'd better check out the Sony Xperia XA Ultra. The 16MP camera up front has a higher resolution than most smartphone rear-facing cameras do. Now, you can pick one up on Amazon for under $300 with a free 64GB Sony microSD card. The XA Ultra (which I'll be referring to as the Ultra from now on) is a very strange Xperia. It's got a 6-inch 1080p display, almost no side bezels, a MediaTek processor, an OIS-equipped 16MP front-facing camera with flash, a 21MP rear-facing camera (with no OIS, oddly), a tiny 2700mAh battery, and no water resistance. But if selfies are your life, the Ultra is probably one of the best phones you can get. You get nice, high-res photos with less blur and more functionality at night, and a huge display to view them on. In addition, you can use the included 64GB microSD card to store more of those magnificent pictures of yourself.Currently, only the Lime Gold model is available, and there's no Prime shipping. However, considering that the Ultra retails for 9.99 (and is currently 9.99 on Amazon), this is a pretty nice deal. Keep in mind is that this listing does include a US warranty.Source: Amazon

Last year's HTC One A9 was perhaps most famous for being an iPhone clone, but it was also a pretty solid smartphone. With this leak by the famed Evan Blass (@evleaks), it appears that the One A9's successor, the One A9s, will resemble a certain fruit-named company's flagship (no, not the BlackBerry Priv) even more. Blass's source is someone familiar with the phone.

Yeah, we know, it doesn't run Android, but the Gear S2 is still an awesome smartwatch. Its innovative rotating bezel is something no other touchscreen-equipped watch has (save for the S2 classic and the upcoming S3). Now, you can pick a manufacturer refurbished Verizon model up from an eBay seller with 97.5% feedback over nearly 120k ratings for a penny under a Benjamin.

To all of you Chase customers who have been longing for Android Pay support, it seems that your prayers have been heard. No longer will you have to purchase a Samsung or Apple device to be able to pay for things with your phone. According to an anonymous Chase employee, Chase will begin supporting Google's NFC-based payment system in just over two weeks.

If the Galaxy S7 deal from yesterday was out of your budget, you might wanna take a look at this one. The OnePlus 2 isn't the Shenzhen-based company's top dog anymore, but it's still a pretty decent smartphone. Now, you can pick one up in new condition from an eBay seller with 99.3% feedback on over 110k ratings for just $240.
