Thus far, we've most commonly seen $10 discounts on Google's Chromecast Ultra. That's really not that great of an incentive, but if you're on the West Coast, you may be able to grab one of these 4K-capable streaming devices for just $29.99 - a whopping 57% off the MSRP.

The Honor 8 is a great phone - it looks good, it's well-specced, and its software was greatly improved with the Nougat update. It's a bit confusing why it's dropped to such low prices, but hey, we're not going to complain. B&H currently has both 32GB and 64GB variants of the Honor 8 for just $249.99 and $299.99, respectively, which is $150 off the MSRP of both models.

One of the biggest reasons people flash custom recovery or ROMs is so that they can add features from newer phones onto their older devices. Case in point: after less than a week of the LG V30 being officially announced, its camera app has already been ported to its little brother, the G6.

With every new OS release, there are bugs that will need to be worked out, and Android Oreo is no exception. One of these bugs is completely preventing Oreo devices from setting up the Canary Flex security camera. Fortunately, Canary and Google are both aware of the situation, and a fix is on the way.

We weren't big fans of the Huawei Watch 2, especially considering how good the first-gen Huatch was, and its $299.99 price tag didn't help it out. But at a hair over $180, the Watch 2 Sport becomes a much more enticing purchase, as does the Classic at $286.75. These are both the lowest prices we've seen on Amazon. The Watch 2 Sport's specs consist of a 1.2" 390p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon Wear 2100, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a 420mAh battery, and IP68 water resistance, as well as GPS, NFC, and an ambient light sensor. The Watch 2 Classic sports the same hardware, but in a more premium body.As mentioned previously, both the $181.91 price for the Sport in Carbon Black and the $286.75 for the Classic are the best deals we've seen. The Concrete Gray Sport is also discounted, but it's $194.99 and has that weird speckled effect. You'll have to wait until September 9th for the Carbon Black Sport to be in stock, but the Concrete Gray Sport and Classic are both available now. Same-day shipping is even included with the Classic if you're a Prime member.Source: Amazon (Sport), (Classic)

At launch, Sprint was the only US carrier that sold BlackBerry's KEYone, a unique device with a permanent hardware keyboard as a large chin. That stayed true until yesterday, but now, the phone is also available on AT&T in an exclusive Space Black color for $499.99.

Despite being a very good phone, the LG G6 has been steadily dropping in price ever since its release. With the release of the V30, the phone has hit one of the lowest prices we've ever seen in US unlocked guise: $469.99. That's a full $30 less than the next best US unlocked G6 deal we've posted. The G6 sports a 5.7" 1440p LCD display in an 18:9 aspect ratio, a Snapdragon 821, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with microSD expansion, a dual camera setup on the back, a 5MP shooter up front, and a 3300mAh battery. There's also IP68 water resistance and wireless charging on board (since this is a US model). It's a very well-rounded device.Amazon has only discounted the black one to $469.99 with the platinum model still showing a $549.99 price, but B&H has slashed the prices on both colors. Shipping is free from both retailers, but Amazon has free same-day shipping for Prime subscribers and B&H has in-store pickup at its NYC location. However, Amazon charges tax for everyone, while B&H only adds tax to those located in New York and New Jersey. We're not sure how long these deals will last for, so don't wait too long if you're interested.Source: Amazon, B&H

One of Android Oreo's main new features is picture-in-picture mode, which launches apps into little windows that go over other apps. It was added to Google Maps a couple weeks ago, but it wasn't functioning properly until a few days ago. Even now, however, it isn't fully working, with PiP windows sometimes not triggering when users hit the home button during navigation. Google is saying that this will be fixed soon, marking the official rollout of PiP for Maps.

A lot of manufacturers are uploading their apps to the Play Store these days. That even includes Xiaomi, a company based in a country that doesn't allow the Play Store to be accessed. The Chinese company has just uploaded its calculator app, creatively named "Mi Calculator," to Google's app marketplace, and it's actually pretty nifty.

There are a handful of Google services that virtually everyone uses, and Google Photos has managed to squeeze into that select group. Over the two years it's been out, Photos has accumulated over 500 million users as of May 2017. Although the service still isn't perfect, it's getting there. The latest update enables watched videos to be cached so that they won't use up more data when replayed.

Google unveiled its Daydream View VR headset alongside the Pixel in October 2016. At $79, it was a good way to bring virtual reality to the masses, with its comfortable fit and included controller. At Verizon's current price of $39.99, a purchase is virtually (ha, see what I did there?) a no-brainer if you're in the market for a VR headset.

Love him or hate him, John Legere has done a lot for T-Mobile since he took the reins in late 2012. The company's latest announcement, entitled Un-carrier Next, has been set for September 6th, and from the video T-Mobile uploaded onto its YouTube channel, it looks like it'll be something big.

Phones are pretty expensive these days, but you don't necessarily need to spend a lot to get good protection for them. Ringke is currently discounting cases for many phones such as the brand new Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S8/S8+, LG G6, and more to as low as $1.92 shipped per case, which is dirt cheap.

Amazon's Alexa virtual assistant is best known for being on its Echo line of speakers, but it's available on both iOS and Android. There's a dedicated Alexa app on both of those operating systems, but only iOS has Alexa built into the main Amazon app. However, that's changing very soon.

Android Oreo is all we've been hearing about for the past week or so, but it's important to remember that virtually every phone is still on Nougat. That includes the Moto Z and its Verizon sibling, the Moto Z Droid. Both phones have just had their 7.1.1 Nougat kernel source codes released by Motorola on GitHub.

Verizon is committing an astonishing $10 million to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. A lot of you guys may not like Big Red, but it's hard to deny that this is a stand-up move. Direct competitor AT&T donated a not-insignificant $350k, while Google plans on donating $2.25 million. In total, corporate America has thus far donated around $40.9 million.

Android 8.0 Oreo made its official debut a little over a week ago, but since then, only devices enrolled in the Android Beta Program have received an official OTA to 8.0. Verizon Pixel phones began receiving the official version earlier today, but it looks like other devices haven't been as fortunate. Luckily, Google has just uploaded factory images and OTAs for Nexus and Pixel devices to their respective pages.

Back in February, Instagram began allowing up to 10 photos/videos in one post. However, they were restricted to a 1:1 (in layman's terms, a square) aspect ratio. With the latest version 12 update for Instagram on both the Play Store and Apple's App Store, those multiple photos/videos can now be in any aspect ratio, so long as the photos/videos within one post are of the same ratio.

Those of you who follow Google's augmented reality adventures will probably know of the Lenovo Phab2 Pro (which hilariously isn't getting Nougat) and the ASUS ZenFone AR - both rather bulky phones with complicated-looking camera arrangements on the back. But ARCore is something a bit different; it aims to bring augmented reality to phones that the general public uses, starting today.

Last year's Moto Z Play was one of the most universally-loved smartphones out there. Why, you may ask, would a phone with a Snapdragon 625 and fairly average specifications overall get such a following? Well, its battery life was nothing short of incredible, with many users getting double digits of screen-on-time. Now, you can grab a Z Play on the cheap from B&H, and get some free stuff thrown in as well.
