The LG V30 has the best build quality of any LG phone we've ever seen, but perhaps that's still not premium enough for you. Perhaps you're a high-class individual who needs to have the fanciest materials and the most exclusive trinkets. If so, you're in luck - LG has announced the Signature Edition, a V30 with a fancy back, upgraded RAM and storage, two pairs of included headphones, optional engraving, and a much more classy price of 2,000,000 Korean won ($1820 USD).For your $1820, you get some impressive specs. These include a 6.0" 1440p P-OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, a Snapdragon 835, an updated 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage with microSD expansion, a dual 16MP + 13MP rear camera setup, a 5MP front-facing camera (I would call it a selfie cam, but that just seems undignified here), and an adequate 3,300mAh battery. It still has a headphone jack, Qi wireless charging, and IP68 water resistance. In fact, it even has Android 8.0.0 Oreo, which the US models don't yet have.

Few tech companies offer better bang for the buck than Xiaomi. That trend continues with the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, which were just announced. Both the 5 and 5 Plus sport 18:9 displays with rounded corners, larger-than-average batteries, and low, low prices. These phones are virtually indistinguishable from flagships on the exterior, and the internals aren't half-bad either.

Mobile banking is great. You can deposit checks and move money around, all without having to go to a physical bank location. Chase is now adding even more features to its app, including the ability to request new cards when they're lost or stolen and to prevent card blocks when you travel.

From time to time, the team at LineageOS will post changelogs of changes/fixes that have been implemented since the last changelog was published. It's been quite a while since the last one on September 23rd, and this new one contains some noteworthy information. Following every change Lineage makes isn't the easiest thing in the world, and this helps consolidate everything.

Xiaomi phones usually have great hardware, but less than impressive software. That's why we were excited to see and review the Mi A1, the company's first Android One device. Given the phone's branding, Oreo was expected to arrive sooner than it would to MIUI-running devices. Lo and behold, it has - at least in the form of a beta.

ASUS isn't traditionally a manufacturer of expensive or interesting phones, but the ZenFone AR satisfies both of those characteristics. At $699 in the top spec, the Tango-equipped ZenFone AR was (and is) a tough sell. But if you were interested in the 6GB RAM/64GB storage version, you can now score one for $50 off MSRP from a few retailers. Both the Verizon and unlocked versions of the ZenFone AR came out in August, and the one discounted is the unlocked model. Specs include a 5.7" 1440p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 821, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with microSD expansion, a 23MP rear camera with OIS, an 8MP selfie-shooter, and a 3,300mAh battery. There's also USB Type-C, a fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack (!), and of course, Tango support. It's also dual-SIM, for what that's worth. In our review, we noted that the screen and camera were pretty good, though battery life wasn't the best. Unfortunately, Tango doesn't seem to have matured much since the Phab2 Pro, but it has its niche use cases. It's definitely one of the more unique phones on the market.Amazon, B&H, and Best Buy are all running $50 discounts on the 6GB RAM version, making the current price $549.99. The 8GB/128GB model isn't discounted, but who really needs 8GB of RAM on their phone? Hit the source links below to view their listings.Source: Amazon, B&H, Best Buy

Every year, Google adds frames of its new devices to the device art generator. This time around, Google took a little longer than usual, but frames for the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, and Pixelbook are finally here. And just like before, it's brutally simple to use, meaning that you, too, can frame your screenshots in Google's new gadgets.

Security is a big deal these days. Google understands this, which is why its Safe Browsing team is implementing even more mandates for applications. Apps that handle user or device data will soon have to provide their own privacy policies. If this requirement isn't met, warnings may be shown on users' devices.

The LTE version of Lenovo's Tab 4 Plus 10" was discounted to $249.99 just over a week ago, but it's now seen an even more significant price drop to $225.99 - a total of $54 off its MSRP. If you're in the market for a larger 10" tablet that isn't going to break the bank, you might want to have a look at this one.The Tab 4 Plus 10" features a 10" (obviously) 1920x1200 IPS display, a Snapdragon 625, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 7,000mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port, which is handy. There's not a ton of horsepower here, but the power-sipping Snapdragon 625 and the larger battery should make for some decent battery life.Amazon reviews average at 4.2 stars, which isn't bad at all. Shipping is free, and if you couldn't tell from the 'prime' badge, Amazon guarantees that it'll arrive before Christmas. A couple of devices these days support HDR, though not many apps do. YouTube, Netflix, and Google Play Movies are among those apps that can handle HDR playback, and one more may soon be joining them: Chrome. This information comes courtesy of two commits that were recently spotted on Chromium Gerrit.

These days, most manufacturers aim for their phones to have things like small bezels, longer screens, and water resistance. ZTE apparently didn't get this memo when it decided to sell the Axon M, a dual-screen and foldable smartphone, exclusively on AT&T. At its starting price of $725, it was a hard sell. Perhaps this $200 discount will entice those who were intrigued by the concept, but didn't want to spend that much money.

Google often likes to give free things to people after they've purchased their products. Just look at Chromecast owners and all the Google Play credit they're drowning in. Now the same thing appears to be happening to owners of certain Chromebooks; if you own a Google Pixelbook, a Samsung Chromebook Plus, or a Samsung Chromebook Pro, you can get six months of Netflix for the incredible price of free.99.

If you're in the market for an Android tablet (you probably aren't), the Galaxy Tab S3 is one of the best options out there. Part of that is due to its beautiful AMOLED display, which supports HDR video. While the WiFi version of the Tab S3 got an update adding support for Netflix HDR two months ago, it's taken until now for Verizon to throw the same functionality in.

We've been seeing a ton of deals on the Home Mini lately, namely with the $29 price drop 'til the end of 2017, the $4 deal through Walmart and Google Express, and more. Google even offered them for free with Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL purchases again. Now Nest and Google are handing free Home Minis out to those who purchase a Nest product for over $99.

It's that time of year again. Knowing our audience, chances are that you're looking for some sort of gadget to purchase for yourself or someone else. Whether the smartphone being replaced is too old, too bootloopy, or just doesn't have all the features you want, we've got you covered with our choices for the best smartphones you can buy.

According to a tweet from Stripe CEO Patrick Collison (his new boss), David Singleton has left his position as Android Wear's VP of engineering at Google. Given the decline of the platform in the last few years, it's understandable why Singleton made the decision to jump ship.

It wasn't long ago that it was difficult to find a Google Home anywhere below $100. But with the introduction of the uber-cheap Home Mini, the demand for the regular Home has slowed down. For today only, Best Buy is offering a two-pack of Google Homes for just $129.98, which pretty much makes this a buy-one, get-one type of deal.

You might remember DxO as the firm behind all those smartphone camera ratings, but the company is branching out into hardware. The DxO ONE with USB Type-C was announced earlier this year, and though an iPhone version with a Lightning port has been available since 2015, it's taken until now for an Android version to arrive. And at $499, it's not cheap.

Over a month ago, it was revealed that Firefox 58 would allow Progressive Web Apps to be added to the home screen. The Firefox 58 beta has made that a reality, and it's also brought with it some more new features, including FLAC support and two new locales. However, the Firefox Search widget is gone from the home screen.

Even if you're not familiar with Hangouts Meet, it's pretty easy to tell what it is just from its name. As a quick recap, it's a service made primarily for people conducting meetings to video chat and/or call team members in faraway places. Whereas the previous maximum number of participants for G Suite Enterprise Edition users was 30, it's now been raised to 50.
