Version 7.0 of the phone app for Nexus and Pixel devices has arrived, with... you guessed it, no major changes at all. There are some minor updates and re-workings, but this one most likely will not blow your socks off.

Remote control cars are great fun, so game developer WeGo Interactive has brought a form of that to Android, with the release of Re-Volt3, a sequel to the popular Re-Volt2. The 'official launch' of the game is today, with different items on offer every day until November 27. Previously, the game has been a in geo-restricted, limited launch, but now it is available worldwide on the Play Store.

The HTC 10 came out a good while ago now - at least in terms of technology - so the Taiwanese company is feeling the need to refresh its lineup in time for Christmas. Just as well, then, that the HTC Bolt came out recently, right? Well, HTC is now releasing that phone for international markets, under the name HTC 10 evo.

We've all heard of contextual launchers - launchers which change what they do or show based on time of day, weather, your calendar, your location, or any other context. However, ts-apps, the maker of AppSales, has a new app in an unreleased, beta state, named Contextual App Folder (CAF), which is a folder that uses context to determine what to show. But what makes it special is the fact that it is a widget, for any launcher or situation.

Google Trips is one of the lesser-used Google apps - it was only released in April - but that's not to say it's not incredibly useful. When the time comes to plan a trip, the app should be the first thing you look at to decide what to do, where to eat, and check for any reserved tickets or other items. A new update, 0.0.42, for Trips has arrived on Google Play, adding some neat new functionality for even better ways to plan your trips.

The GO series of games have, by all accounts, been a big success for Square Enix. We at Android Police love both Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO, and Deus Ex GO is no different - it's great. Even more than the thousands who have already bought it can enjoy it now, as it's down 80% to 0.99 (or the equivalent) for a limited time. This goes for many countries, and may even be worldwide, but we cannot verify that. Let us know in the comments what the price is in your country.

Ask any Brit about Sir David Attenborough and I'm sure most would respond positively. Attenborough, a broadcaster and naturalist who has created the 'Life' TV series and refined how to make documentaries, has had his work compiled into an app, appropriately titled 'Attenborough's Story of Life.'

The eBay app has improved greatly over the last few years, going from a jumbled, kind-of-holo mess to the much a better, usable app it is now. Today, eBay is announcing a new update that makes it easier to find what you are looking for by introducing new, improved categories.

It's just under a month after the brand new Pixel devices came out, so naturally developers and custom ROM makers have been hard at work building their wares for the new phones. Included in this is TWRP, the most popular custom recovery for Android (RIP ClockworkMod).

Microsoft wants to beat Google at its own game, so to those ends the company drives hard and fast when it comes to search. The newest feature to hit the app is 360 Search, an augmented reality-infused experience that helps take you where you want to go. Other new things include enhanced music and events features as well as a new 'Lottery' section showing the latest winning results for jackpots and such.

Google told us at its event in October that the company's new router, the Wifi, would be available to order some time in November and would then ship in December. Right on cue, an unlisted video has appeared showing how to set up your brand new router.

The best way to show you're worried about a competitor is to copy their product and attempt to do it better than the original. Facebook is obviously worried about Snapchat, because it's created not one, not two, but three Snapchat clones over the past few years. Now it's got another one, Flash, aimed at emerging markets.

The list of banks that support Android Pay continues to grow, with 31 US banks added this time around. As we already knew just under a week ago, Capital One now supports Android Pay, although as Ryan says in that post, the support is a little wonky with caveats and a weird verification process.

As this is an Android enthusiast website, I would expect most readers probably have or at least know about the Google Chromecast. The little streaming stick has found its way into millions of homes, but now Google has started on a massive advertising campaign for the device, following on from the even bigger 'Phone by Google' Pixel ad campaign.

Screenshots are great for sharing something funny with a friend, but it'd be so much easier if we could do that without having to crop the original shot first. Some Redditors discovered over the weekend that partial screenshot functionality is currently hidden in Android Nougat, and can be turned on via the source code and then used with either the normal screenshot buttons or a physical keyboard.

We like reporting on the tiny, minuscule improvements to the Android and Google platforms here at Android Police, so we were delighted to find that in the Google Play Store, older devices have disappeared on the list of 'My Devices.' This is pretty small and insignificant to most, but it's something that will have bothered many hardcore Android fans, so it's good to see it fixed.

We all long for the day when the full version of Photoshop can be used on a mobile device, but for now we will have to settle for its lesser siblings. Adobe has just released Photoshop Sketch and Comp CC on Android, bringing two graphic design and creation apps to the platform, plus updating Illustrator Draw with new features.

Material is the name of the game at the moment, with apps left, right, and centre adopting the new(ish) design standards and animations. While the Wallet Android app has been material for a while now, the web app has just been updated to adopt the desktop version of material design.

The Chinese smartphone upstart known as Xiaomi has had its sights set on the United States for quite a while, but only now is that really coming to a head. In a recent interview with Engadget, Xiaomi's Global VP, and former Googler, Hugo Barra revealed that Xiaomi phones are being actively tested in the US in preparation for a launch sometime in the next two years.
