Most of the time I use music to allow me to focus on something else. Driving, walking, or working. I don't need audiophile headphones in these cases (or speakers, in the case of driving). They just need to do a reasonable job of blocking out sound and not be terrible. In those cases, wireless headphones/earbuds will do. (I actually only have some cheap wireless earbuds. I want some Bose QC35 IIs but I'm waiting until they get updated with USB-C charging, and until I can justify spending hundreds on them.) There are times when I want to explicitly listen to music (or other stuff, like podcasts, TV, sport, etc). This requires better-quality stuff, so I use wired speakers or headphones. (I have Bose SoundTrue wired headphones for this, which have served me great for a year after buying preowned.)

So does this mean the UK might get Oyster card compatibility (I know there's more to the UK than London, but it's the system I'm most familiar with) in Google Pay? That'd be cool, although because you can pay with contactless anyway on the Tube, I'm not sure how useful it'd be. But would be nice all the same.

> Google does design by ML and numbers, but THAT'S NOT HOW YOU DO DESIGN GOOGLE. I really don't like this direction... They used to do this, but not so much any more. Anyway, this is a developer preview. How do we know they're not completely revamping the battery menu for the better, and this is all just placeholder stuff until later?

Very few people, if anyone at all, has a phone with an in-display fingerprint reader. And Android P DP1 isn't available on any phones with one anyway. The feature would only show if you have a phone with an in-display fingerprint reader. So, I ask again: How do you know they haven't added something like that?
