We're coming to the end of another road, everyone. OnePlus has started rolling out the last Open Beta for the 5/5T. At least it brings Zen Mode to the phones, a feature the 6/6T got not too long ago. There are some other improvements, too, as usual, but for a final beta, it has only one highlighting feature.

One of the biggest concerns in our modern online era is privacy — that is, how much you want certain corporations to know about your web habits, app usage, and location data. Some people don't care, others go to extreme lengths to remain anonymous online, and the rest of us fall in the middle. One of the more common concerns is with Google and its nigh monopoly on search and other online products, not to mention how much it knows about us. So to assuage user worries, the search giant is introducing auto-delete controls for location history and web/app activity logs.

Here on this quiet Sunday, Telegram decided to push out a new update, bringing the app to version 5.8. While the last couple of releases have focused on privacy, this one is centered around communicating with people nearby and adding contacts without having their phone numbers.

June is already almost half over, but that hasn't stopped OnePlus from pushing out new Open Betas for its past devices. Both the 5 and 6 family just received Digital Wellbeing, the June patch, and OnePlus' Fnatic mode.

Yesterday, Amazon announced that Prime members could get their packages delivered to their home garages with the Key for Garage system. It requires special hardware, however, so to to help people get started with their pre-existing door, the myQ Smart Garage Door hub is on sale for $49.99.Besides just allowing you get packages delivered to your garage, the myQ hub lets you have remote control access to your garage, far beyond the range of your opener. You can also receive alerts based on your family's schedule and needs. Setup is simple and the hub is compatible with most garage doors made after 1993 (that have standard safety sensors).
You can also get an Amazon Cloud Cam bundled with the myQ hub for $124.99, which is $74.99 off the price of both. Otherwise, the hub alone is in the buy link below.

OnePlus, shortly after pushing an Open Beta which brought Zen Mode and Screen Recorder, announced a new OxygenOS update for the 6 and 6T, versions 9.0.6 and 9.0.14, respectively. It's a bit smaller, focusing mostly on bug fixes, but it has the May security patch.
Yep, we're back. The Android Police app sales roundups took another hiatus because I simply didn't have the time to work on them. That's honestly still the case for the most part, but here I am regardless. It's a real shame that the list I come back to is really quite underwhelming, but there are some good things here.
