Welcome to Wednesday and another round of Android Police's thrice-weekly app sales roundups. Today's list is quite respectable and includes some very notable games, including the excellent Baldur's Gate II and several titles by developer Herocraft, such as Majesty. You'll find those in bold below.

If you're on AT&T and you've been wanting an LTE version of the best Android tablet around, then you'll be happy to know that the cellular variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is now available on the blue carrier. You have the option to buy it outright or spread the cost out over 20 monthly payments.

Before the days of Twitch, or even Justin.tv, YouTube was the one place we all went for gaming content. Whether they were Let's Plays of games that were out of our reach, guides on how to complete quests or boss battles, or lore videos that dove deep into a game's story, YouTube was the place to find it all. In 2015, the company launched YouTube Gaming to combat the rising popularity of Twitch. It also ended up being a testing ground of sorts for things like a dark theme, Super Chat, and Channel Memberships. But in a weird turn of events, the popularity of the service (according to YouTube, at least) is leading to its shutdown in March 2019.

We're over halfway through September already, which is somewhat difficult to believe. Anyway, we have quite a list to start off the week, so let's get to it.

If you need a cheap phone, then this deal might be for you. Amazon has the Prime Exclusive LG Stylo 4 for just $209.99 right now, making for a nice $40 in savings (despite what the product page says, it's been $249.99 for a few months now).LG's Stylo 4 is an unlocked budget phone with some features found on higher-end phones. It works on all four major carriers and has 32GB of storage, a stylus, a 3,300mAh battery, USB-C (with fast charging), a 6.2" FHD+ display, a Snapdragon 450, and 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras. Being a Prime Exclusive, it comes pre-loaded with several Amazon apps, which is the trade-off for the lower price.$210 is not bad considering what you get with this phone. It's currently on Android 8.1 Oreo, too. If you or someone you know needs a cheap device, then this is worth considering. Just head over to the source link below to get started.Source: Amazon

OnePlus is pushing out Open Beta updates for its latest flagship quickly. The phone is already on its third version (we skipped the last one since it was rather boring), this time with more improvements across the board, plus some new features. OnePlus Switch is getting some refinements, Parallel Apps is expanding to include more options, and there's even an option to launch Assistant (or other voice assistant) by holding the power button for half a second.

Another week is wrapping up, so let's breeze through one final round of app sales. Today's list is fairly small with a couple of games in bold that I think are worth checking out. Otherwise, enjoy your weekend.

When you're writing a lot, whether for your education or profession, it's easy to make mistakes, whether they be typos or straight up grammar errors. One of the more popular services to catch problems or offer suggestions for writing improvement is Grammarly. There's already a Chrome extension for it (in addition to the dedicated editor), but now all users will be able to get writing help right in Google Docs.

We're halfway through another week, so that means it's time to check out some more app sales. Today's list isn't too bad, and it even has some notable items (which you will find in bold). It also might be worth heading back to Monday's post to check out if anything there is still on sale.

Nvidia's Shield TV is perhaps one of the best supported devices in recent memory. The original unit from 2015 and its refreshed sibling from 2017 are both getting another software update, starting today. Shield TV Software Experience 7.1 has an impressive changelog, full of new stuff and improvements.

Another week is here. We have more app sales to get through today, including the fantastic Sleep as Android unlock key. As I've said before, if you're at all interested in sleep tracking, this is the app to get. Otherwise, it's a fairly standard selection today, so take a look through to see if anything catches your eye.

The first week of September is wrapping up, so let's take one last look at some app sales. Today's list features plenty of variety and even some notable goodies to boot. Browse through what's on offer today at your leisure and enjoy your weekend.

Samsung announced today that it's bringing the mid-range Galaxy A6 and Tab A 10.5, plus the budget J3 and J7 phones, to the U.S., unlocked and via carrier partners. The company is aiming to provide great displays, awesome cameras, and solid performance for people who don't want to spend more on a smart device than they have to. All four will be available on September 14.

Welcome back to another round of app sales. I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day weekend and that the week is treating you well so far. We have a smaller list than we did on Monday, but that's not too surprising. Take a look through and be sure to swing back around on Friday.

What a way to celebrate Labor Day. The first Open Beta for the OnePlus 6 is now available! Notably, this update brings the phone up to Android 9 Pie and, along with all of the changes in the latest OS version, it adds some new features, too. This being the initial release, there are some bugs to be expected, but let's take a look through the changelog first.

Happy Labor Day! Here in the U.S., many of you have a three-day weekend, so while you're enjoying the time off, why don't you take some time to look through the apps and games on sale today? It's quite a list, but there are some good options in there.

Qualcomm is looking to tackle some of the issues with Bluetooth audio with its new aptX Adaptive codec. Its key feature is that it dynamically adjusts to what you're consuming, which should not only improve audio quality overall, but also reduce latency in A/V content like videos and games.

At IFA, Huawei announced its new flagship system-on-chip, the Kirin 980. Following in the footsteps of its fantastic predecessor, the 980 is the first commerical 7nm SoC, meaning that Huawei beat Qualcomm to the punch. It uses a combination of modified Cortex-A76 and A55 cores, a new Mali-G76 GPU, and a dual Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

Welcome to the final day of August. Autumn is right around the corner, which means schools are back in session (or close enough). Seemingly in celebration of this, a lot of apps went on sale today, or maybe because IFA is also still going on. Anyway, take a look through what we have today to see if anything interests you. Have a good Labor Day weekend.

Lenovo Smart Home Essentials is the company's new product line for the connected home. It's starting off humbly with a camera, a wall plug, and a light bulb — consequently, I feel like there should be a joke here, but I'm drawing a blank. These will be compatible with both Alexa and Assistant right out of the gate, too.
