Wireless headphones may be the craze these days, but manufacturers are still producing plenty of wired headphones, and for good reason. Wired headphones sound better than their cord-free counterparts, don't require any fiddly pairing, and most importantly, never need to be charged. V-Moda, makers of some of my favorite headphones I've tested to date, has decided to jump into the in-ear headphone game with their own line of fitness oriented headphones and I've spent the last few weeks testing them out. The new Forza series of in-ear headphones consists of three different models, two wired, and one wireless. The Forza Metallo Wireless ($170) won't be available until January, so today we'll only be looking at the two wired options, the Forza ($100) and Forza Metallo ($130). Both boast a nearly identical spec list, with the only real differentiation being materials and price.[caption id="attachment_401972" align="alignnone" width="668"] Forza Metallos on the left, standard Forzas on the right.[/caption]Each sports 5.8mm drivers, High-Res audio, 45 degree gold-plated 3.5mm plugs, sweat and weather resistance, in-line three-button controls and mic, and tangle-resistant Kevlar reinforced cords. The accessory list for both headphones is also the same, each including four sizes of buds, three sizes of fins, a set of ear-hooks, and a carry pouch.[caption id="attachment_401974" align="alignnone" width="668"] Both models come with the same accessories, the only difference is the carry-case.[/caption]The Metalos justify their $30 higher asking price by upgrading the housing from plastic to metal, and the carry-pouch is also crafted from vegan leather (AKA, polyurethane) instead of nylon mesh. Other than those, mostly cosmetic, differences, the headphones are practically identical. Because of that, I'm going to review them collectively instead of individually.

Listen nerds, I know a lot of you got some new gadgets gifted to you in the last few days. Those electronic critters come hungry, and they'll need a nightly infusion of electrons to stay healthy and happy. Fortunately, your buddy Jeff at AP has scouted out a good deal on a pretty decent wall charger that'll do the trick.  The charger in question is manufactured by Aukey, one of the myriad Chinese manufacturers that produce good, albeit boring, chargers. It comes with three ports, one of which is a QC 2.0 port. Yeah, it's not QC 3.0 – but hey, 6 bucks. The remaining two are your typical 2.4A ports. The unit plugs directly into the wall and is reasonably compact (it's smaller than a credit card) for a three port charger.A 3.3ft Micro USB cable is included and Aukey backs their products with a two-year warranty so you need not fear product failure. If you want it, head over to Amazon, pop in coupon code FPRJZNSL at checkout and watch the price drop to $6.

Twas days before Christmas but Samsung's marketing team was still busy, creating new VR experiences that are sure to make you feel dizzy.

One of the finest $200 Bluetooth speakers out there is the UE Boom 2. I own one and it is a benchmark device that I use to compare any speaker in a similar price range that is sent to me for testing. Few sound as good as it does, and none also boast all the other great features the speaker offers. Those features include an eye-catching design, long battery life, a waterproof and shockproof body, and Google Now voice integration. At $200 the speaker is a solid value, at its current price of just 0 on Amazon, it's a steal. $130 is the lowest price the speaker has even been sold at on Amazon (with the exception of Black Friday), and it's not likely to stay at this price for long. It's not just the black model that is on sale either, all the different color combinations are discounted. I will note that a few of them are on back-order and may take a little longer to ship.Grab one if you'd like using the link below. Remember, these might go quick, so don't delay if you really want one.Source: Amazon

Winter has been coming for a long time. Now, as of yesterday, it's finally here. For those of us who live in the northern portion of our planet, that means it's freakin' cold! Here in Seattle it's also super wet, dark, and generally just all around miserable (me and Seattle's weather have a love-hate relationship). In other words, perfect weather to stay in and watch a movie on the couch with a warm cup of cider.

I hooked you guys up with a sweet deal on a QC 3.0 car charger yesterday and today I've got another charger deal to share with you. This time it's on a device that will keep your gadgets fueled up while you are out and about. Aukey's 16,000mAh battery is on sale on Amazon for $23.09, down from $34.99. That's a savings of about $12, and the lowest price ever on this particular battery according to the triple camel. To get the discount, all you need to do is add the battery to your cart and apply the coupon code 7AGVT8QH at checkout.

As a community of tech addicts, we tend to be a bit more demanding of our phone's battery life than the average user. Because of this, we need to take advantage of every opportunity available to recharge our gear. A perfect time to top off the tank of the ol' smartphone is during the daily commute. If you are fortunate enough to have a short one (you lucky devil) then you need a car charger that can provide the much-needed juice in a hurry. There's a car charger on sale today for just under $8 that does just that. It's made by Aukey and features two charging ports, one has an output of 2.4A, and the other supports Quick Charge 3.0. It's not terribly flashy, but it gets the job done just fine. In fact, it's the charger that's been in our family minivan for the past 6 months, and it's still working great.

Looking for a last-minute stocking stuffer or white elephant gift? No worries, we've got your back covered here at AP – check this deal out. JBL.com has the JBL Go Bluetooth speaker on sale for just $20, which is half its retail price. It's available in a plethora of colors (yes, I know what a plethora is) and ships free and will arrive in plenty of time for Christmas. The Go is the smallest speaker in JBL's lineup, but according to its reviews on Amazon (4.5 stars), it still packs quite the punch. It's portable, sports five hours of battery life, and sounds pretty good – what else could you want in a $20 speaker?[caption id="attachment_399859" align="alignnone" width="668"] This picture should help you gauge the size of the speaker.[/caption]JBL is offering free shipping on any purchase from its website, including the Go speaker. There is a limit to two speakers per order, but I don't see any rules against making multiple orders if you wanted to pick up a few as gifts. The price is good from now until December 18th, or as long as supplies last. If there is a particular color you'd like I'd grab one quick if I were you, as some colors are likely to go OOS soon.Source: JBL

Of all the products I have reviewed for Android Police, there are few that I have loved more than the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones. They are built with precision, look amazing, and sound great. Yes, I'm gushing a bit, but V-Moda makes products that are worthy of praise.Well, today the Crossfade Wireless headphones aren't on sale, but their wired counterparts, the Crossfade M-100's are. The site selling them, MusiciansFriend.com, has them marked down to $174, but applying the coupon code HOLIDAY knocks the price all the way down to $144.33 That's almost $20 less than their current selling price at Amazon, and the best deal I've seen on these cans yet. Even better, Musician's Friend is throwing in a free V-Moda BoomPro gaming mic with your purchase, which is another $30 value.

Here's a deal that should please just about everyone. Target's Cyber Monday promotion started today and is offering 15 percent off tens of thousands of different products. Purchases made with a Target Red card are also eligible for an addition 5% off for a total savings of near 20% (the 5% discount is applied after the 15% discount, so it's slightly less than 20% off).

The Nest store has some pretty sweet offers for its portfolio of products for Black Friday weekend. The Nest indoor camera is available at the very compelling price of just $149. Well, sorry if you already bought one, because Amazon just dropped the price on two different Nest camera models to the lowest level we've seen yet. (Maybe you can still cancel your order?)The Nest indoor camera is currently on sale for $127.49 and the outdoor model is also discounted to $169.99. Those are both excellent prices for connected cameras of this quality and could be the best deals we see on them all year. In fact, the indoor model's price is so good that, as of now, it is back-ordered. The good news is that it is still available to purchase as long as you are OK waiting a bit longer to receive it than the accustomed 2-day Amazon delivery. With prices this good, both products may go OOS soon, so don't delay if you want to pick up one, or both of these devices while they are on sale. I think I might grab an indoor camera to use as a baby monitor. If any of you readers have used one for that purpose I'd love to hear how well it works in the comments below. Here are the links, you know what to do with them.

I'm sure by now we've shined the light on enough Philips Hue deals for you to know all about the WiFi connected bulbs. I mean, you're a bright bunch, I don't think I can really illuminate any new details about the system that you haven't read before.

When I get a new speaker in the mail to test, one of my go-to devices for comparison is the UE Boom 2. Looks, features, sound – this speaker checks off all the boxes. Today, it even checks the box next to great price. Right now you can pick one up at Verizon for just $99, which is half the normal retail price and a full $30 less than the discounted price that everyone else is offering, including T-Mobile (better get on that Mr. Legere, can't let big red beat ya, it'll ruin your sterling reputation). What makes this deal even sweeter is that the discount isn't restricted to just one color combination as is often the case with killer sales. Want it in orange and purple? They've gotcha covered. How about gray and grayer? Those are available too! Want one that tastes like snozzberries? Well, that they don't have, but there is a pink and red one that looks absolutely delicious. The only problem with this deal is that Verizon's price is so much better than everyone else's that their inventory is likely to disappear fast. Head on over to Verizon's site as fast as your overstuffed lil' tummy can take you to grab one before they are gone. Shipping is free and I promise not to tell your friends and family that you bought their Christmas gift from the devil. Now, get back to eating pie and watching football, that is, after you place your order.

What you are about to read is unlike anything I have ever written for Android Police before. There are no coupon codes, reviews, leaks, specs, or APKs in this article. Instead, this is a story that I have wanted to share with you, our readers, for quite some time. Today, as I reflected on the things I am grateful for in my life, I made the decision to sit down and write the story of one of the most random, timely, and wondrous things that have ever happened to me, all because I was an Android Police reader. If you have a few minutes to read a story, then sit down, and I'll tell you one. If you want some tech news, go ahead and skip this article and go to the next one – I promise I won't be offended.

If you've considered signing up for a music streaming subscription then here's an offer that you might like. Google is currently gifting new subscribers to Google Play Music a free four-month membership. Also included is a subscription for YouTube Red, with all its great benefits, including offline playback and ad-free videos.

If you've bought a new Android device in the past six months, chances are pretty good that it charges via USB Type-C. There are some nice advantages to the new charging standard (that I wish was more standardized) but there is also one fairly large disadvantage. USB Type-C cords cost a lot more than their MicroUSB brethren. That is, if you pay the full price for them. If you pick them up on sale, prices are a bit more tolerable. Today I've got three codes to share with you guys for three different two packs of USB Type-C to Type-A cables. You can pick whichever set you'd like for around seven bucks after applying the discount. Two of the sets are from Choetech, one is from Tronsmart. The Choetech cables are bit more lux, with aluminum tips on both ends and diamond shaded cables to reduce tangling. The Tronsmart cables, however, are two feet longer than the Choetech ones, so they may work better for you if length is your most important criteria when selecting a new cable. Here are the links and codes so you can compare them for yourselves.

Wireless headphones are getting a lot of attention these days in light of a certain phone manufacture's 'brave' decision to remove headphone jacks, but a good wired set of buds can often be found at much lower prices. Such is the case today with the Bose SoundSport In-Ear Headphones which are on sale for just $40 right now at Best Buy. With an MSRP of $99 and a street price of around $90, that's a killer deal on a very well-reviewed set of earbuds. In fact, it's less than a third of the price of these headphone's wireless counterpart. This set of Bose earbuds is not exactly feature rich. They are sweat and water-resistant and use Bose's StayHear eartips, which I have read are pretty comfy, and that's about it. This model doesn't even have inline controls or a microphone – they are strictly for listening to audio. It's also notable that only the gray color option is on sale. If you don't like that, then you can buy this headphone color-changing kit to make them the color of your choosing. Or, you can just live with the gray, depending on how you feel about the recent election (or World Series), it may actually match your mood quite nicely. The buds come with a nice looking carry case and three sizes of tips. Pick up a pair for yourself if you'd like at Best Buy, two-day shipping is free.

BestBuy has a sweet deal going on today. You can pick up a Phillips Hue A19 starter kit (3 bulbs plus a hub) and an Amazon Echo for $260.40. That's about $120 less than you would pay if you bought each item separately at full price. This a great combo for those of you wanting to add some tech to your home to make it a little smarter.

V-Moda is a brand that's admired by several of us here at AP. It has the reputation of delivering attractive headphones with excellent sound at a (somewhat) reasonable price. I reviewed its Crossfade Wireless headphones a couple of months back and thoroughly enjoyed them.

What's waterproof, great sounding, affordably priced, and shaped like a flying saucer? The UE Roll Bluetooth speaker, which is currently on sale at BestBuy for $45, the lowest price I've seen for it yet.
