Samsung might have made some cool commercials for the Galaxy Tab, but you and I both know that when it comes to advertisements, Motorola still reigns supreme. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the first promo video for their upcoming Honeycomb tablet is nothing short of epic:
Aspen, loads of snow, and now coverage from Sprint and Clearwire's WiMax network... yeah, Coloradans pretty much have it all. Just over an hour ago, the nation's third largest carrier announced that its 4G network is now live along Colorado's Front Range (which includes such cities as Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Greeley) as well as in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
US Cellular is really proving itself to be the carrier for holiday shoppers not wanting to spend a small fortune on gifts, isn't it? Just two days after announcing that all phones will be free until the 24th, the carrier's turned its price-cutting gaze to the Samsung Galaxy Tab and lowered the tablet's price to only $199 on contract, half of what it was before.
As exciting as seeing the Gingerbread keyboard leak out was, the fact remained that users stuck on Android 2.1 or below couldn't join in on the fun, and the same went for users of non-rooted devices.
It's not the PlayStation-related Android announcement we were hoping Sony would make, but the Official PlayStation app is still (sort of) intriguing in and of itself. Version 1.0 of the app will be coming soon to both our beloved Android Market and the iOS App Store, though we here in the States will be left out of the fun initially. For those lucky enough to live in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, or the Netherlands, (the areas where the app will be available upon launch) here's what you have to look forward to:

The Nexus S isn't exactly a huge upgrade from Google's original Jesus phone (in fact, it could be considered a downgrade in some respects), but it does feature one potential selling point: Gingerbread. That said, there's no reason those of us with non-Nexus S phones should have to wait in order to enjoy the update's new features, as the leaked Gingerbread launcher and 2.3 keyboard have shown us.
US Cellular may not have the most impressive lineup of phones in the world, but it would be hard to say no to getting one of them free nonetheless. And come December 17th, customers will be able to do just that - get any of US Cellular's phones for just $0.00.

The T-Mobile G2 is a great phone that would, no doubt, make a fantastic Christmas gift. But up until now, we haven't been treated to many deals on the device (with the exception of Amazon Wireless' Black Friday sale) - obviously not something holiday shoppers are enthusiastic about. That ends today, however, as T-Mobile itself has just trimmed the G2's price tag by $150, making the final price $49.99 on a new two-year contract. Note that since this is a web exclusive, in-store buyers will still have to cough up $199.99. Nonetheless, if it's shipping you're worried about, fear not, for transportation fees will be nonexistent until December 20th. Oh, the holidays!
When it comes to Tegra 2-powered Android tablets, the Notion Ink Adam, the Viewsonic G, and Motorola's upcoming Honeycomb tablet are all the rage, but a small company called Stream TV would like to remind you that it's got a dual-core tablet of its own. Indeed, Stream TV is now shipping its eLocity A7 tablet, complete with a 7-inch display, Android 2.2 Froyo, and of course, the aforementioned nVidia Tegra 2 processor. For now, the company is only shipping it to those who pre-ordered it back in September, though Walmart, NewEgg, BJs, and Tiger Direct should be carrying the device for about $399 shortly, while Amazon will soon be touting it for just $369. Not a bad deal, I must admit.
Motorola's Honeycomb tablet has certainly been receiving a lot of attention as of late - more attention, perhaps, than has ever been paid to a device whose name has yet to be publicized. While loyal commenters on the Notion Ink blog got the chance to pre-order this morning, the rest of us have been deprived of the privilege until now. Well, you can stop holding your breath now, for the Indian company has just let the rest of the world in on its pre-order page for the 10-inch tablet. The prices have remained the same, but let's recap them anyways:
