When you set up an email account, you rarely have to enter the server details. This wasn't the case a few years ago, when you had to choose between POP3 and IMAP protocols and enter the connection details manually. The first meant your messages would be deleted from the server and stored locally, while the latter implied emails would remain on the server. In today's world, it's almost unimaginable not to use a server-oriented setup, but Microsoft begs to differ, as it just added support for POP3 in Outlook mobile.

If you ask my friends what I'm really into, they'll definitely mention fitness. As surprisingly as it sounds, this wasn't the case about ten years ago, until I decided I wanted to lose weight and start training more seriously. I've been able to achieve my goals and understand what I was doing thanks to a bunch of apps, and I wanted to share a some of them with you to help you get in shape or track your objectives in a way that matches your lifestyle.

Back in February, Toyota announced it was finally working on adding Android Auto support in its vehicles. Given it's one of the largest car manufacturers worldwide, it's very surprising it was so late in making the move, but the Japanese company seems to be serious in its commitment to Android Auto, as its luxury division's cars will also support it.

When I pack my bags before traveling, I use something I call my "packlist," which is basically a to-do list that I re-use every time I'm going somewhere. Next to the obvious "tees" and "underwear" entries, I have at least four different chargers: one for my Mac, another one for my smartwatch, a USB-C cable to power up my phone, and a microUSB cord to plug my headphones and battery pack. You could argue I could save myself the trouble of taking so many with me by using adapters, but I usually need to fill up several if not all my devices at the same time, which is why all-in-one chargers are perfectly adapted to me. Satechi's excellent travel charger is of the best on the market, and it's now selling for $47.99, a $12 drop from its previous $59.99 price.

The Galaxy Note10 has been available for just two weeks, and despite the pre-order offers being gone, the device is available at a discount on eBay, with both the 256GB Note10 and Note10+ selling for $776 and $900, respectively on eBay.

The Fairphone 3 was announced at the end of last month, aiming at combining sustainability and repairability in a single device. The company is known for receiving high scores on iFixit, with the first model getting 7/10, and the Fairphone 2 being awarded the top 10/10 rating. The third iteration confirms the company’s commitment to building phones that are easy to repair, as the Fairphone 3 just got the same perfect 10/10 score.

Twitter was amongst the early ones to release a night mode for its app. However, even though it's been around since 2016, the interface uses shades of midnight blue rather than black, which might be easier on the eye but doesn't help save as much battery as turning the pixels off on AMOLED screens. The social media giant is now addressing this by rolling out a new "Lights out" option that lets you switch to true-black tones that not only look darker but also reduce power consumption on AMOLED panels.

If you’re looking at making your home safer, security cameras are a great way to keep an eye on your property and receive alerts in case something might be wrong. Thanks to this deal on Arlo Q Wi-Fi cameras, you can save $73 on a two-pack bundle, down to $203.Unlike most Arlo products, the Q connects directly to your router over Wi-Fi and does not require an additional hub. Unfortunately, the cameras will still need to be hard-wired, as they don’t have a built-in battery.

OnePlus introduced Zen Mode together with its latest flagship device, aiming at helping users take a break from technology and spend more time interacting with the real world. The company just published the app on the Play Store, making it easier to update it for the 7 and 7 Pro, but also to release it for older devices.

When it comes to storing files on the cloud, there’s a variety of options you can pick from. The most common names on the market include Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. Although the first already passed one billion downloads last year, Microsoft’s solution just exceeded the same threshold, confirming the app’s popularity.

Android 10 brought a handy feature that displays a media progress bar directly in the notification bar, which various apps can benefit from. Unfortunately, Spotify didn't  implement this feature fully, as it didn’t initially allow users to interact with the progress bar. However, the company fixed it, as the bar is now seekable, letting you jump to your favorite part directly from your notifications.

UPI is the leading digital payment platform in India, which lets users make transfers directly from one bank account to another. It's already used for more than 900 million transactions a month, such as utility bill payments, mobile recharges, in-store purchases, and more. From now on, Indian users will also be able to buy content from the Play Store using the payment solution.

Dark modes are quite popular these days, both thanks to their eye-pleasing appearance but mostly because they help reduce battery usage on AMOLED displays. Therefore, to delight users and remain competitive on the market, many companies are working on developing a darker theme for their apps. Microsoft is one of them, as it announced it was designing one for OneNote back in April and is now doing the very same with its mobile email client.

There's been a lot of noise around the Pixel 3's dual SIM feature, and until now Google seemed undecided as to whether it wanted to provide full support for Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) on its latest flagship. However, the company just officialized the feature on the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, offering the ability to use two lines simultaneously.

Just a few days after we saw CAD-based renders of the OnePlus 7T, the device's specs have been shared by Ishan Agarwal on Twitter today. Although we're not 100% certain that they're the correct and final ones, they seem very plausible as they point to slightly improved components compared to the previous generation.

It's quite versatile and can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall, depending on where you'd like to put it. Lastly, you get to pick between the battery and wired models and get to place your camera anywhere without having to worry about cables. As with the other Ring products, you'll need to get the paid subscription to save footage, which doesn't make it the most affordable security camera on the market. The products are discounted on Ring's site and Amazon and don't require any additional coupon to enjoy the markdown.

At the beginning of the month, Google's soon to be replaced flagship dropped to $500 thanks a $300 markdown, making the device quite attractive. Rakuten currently has an even better deal, selling a new Pixel 3 for just $450 or a Pixel 3 XL for $435.
