The Samsung Galaxy S8's public release is almost upon us, but Samsung hasn't completely forgotten about its older devices. The company began updating various Galaxy phones and tablets to Nougat earlier this year, and has been working to update all the various carrier models. The AT&T Galaxy Note 5 got its Nougat update earlier today, and now the carrier's S6 Edge+ has joined in.

The BlackBerry Priv was the company's first Android phone, after years of trying to make its own operating system successful. It wasn't quite the runaway success BlackBerry hoped for, and ended up being its last phone developed in-house. Now you can buy the Verizon model (which has some GSM compatibility) for just $259.99, the lowest price we've seen for this phone.

Even though the company has started to slack on fast updates, Motorola is still very good at creating budget devices. The recent Moto G5 and G5 Plus, the latest devices in Motorola's mid-range lineup, have received great reviews. Now it looks like Motorola is getting ready to make its cheapest Android phones yet, the Moto C and Moto C Plus.

When Google Assistant was first introduced, you could ask it to add items to your personal shopping list. This would create a note called 'Google Assistant shopping list' in Google Keep, and you could easily manage your list from the Keep app (or web app). It makes sense that your shopping list would be in the same app as your notes, right?

Ajit Pai was appointed as the Federal Communications Commission's new chairman shortly after the election of President Donald Trump. As a self-described opponent of net neutrality, it came as little surprise when he closed the organization's investigation into zero-rating in February.

Fake reviews on the Play Store, or any other online marketplace, are not new at all. But over the years, Google has stayed ahead of the curve with improved fraud and spam detection. But in the past few weeks, the amount of obviously fake reviews has skyrocketed.

Inbox already does a great job of categorizing your email messages, but you still end up getting notifications for everything that comes in. In a recent teardown, we discovered that a new Inbox feature called 'High priority notifications' was in development. Now it seems to be going live - at least for some users.

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition was first in several areas. It was the first Android Wear device with LTE connectivity, the first with multiple function buttons, and the first with a speaker for voice calls. Unfortunately, it will be far from the first watch to get Android Wear 2.0.

New Balance's first Android Wear watch, the RunIQ, was originally announced at the start of 2017 and released about a month later. It was already confirmed to receive Android Wear 2.0, but owners were left wondering when it was actually going to happen. New Balance has confirmed the watch will get the update "no later than April 14, 2017."

The second-generation LG Watch Urbane was the first Android Wear device with LTE capabilities, multiple function buttons, and a speaker for voice calls. It was delayed in November 2015 due to hardware issues, but reappeared for sale in March of 2016. Now you can get it for $179.99 - a whopping $220 off the launch price.

Icon packs are in a tricky legal gray area. Almost all of them (if not all) contain trademarked images legally owned by the original developers, and to make matters worse, many icon packs are paid. One developer recently submitted a new icon pack to the Play Store, only to have it rejected for "content owned by a third party."

One of the many new features in the Android O Developer Preview is the Autofill API, which allows apps to fill in text fields automatically. Many people immediately thought of password managers when the API was announced, and shortly after the Dev Preview went live, 1Password whipped up a demo of using the feature.

Microsoft Translator is the company's cloud-based translation service, primarily geared towards business use. With the latest update, version 3.0.183, the Android app now supports Japanese voice translation.

Since our last LineageOS post, the project has continued to add new features and support new devices. In addition to new Quick Settings tiles and changes to included apps, the ROM now supports 16 additional devices.

The OnePlus 3 and 3T were some of the best phones of last year, especially given their low prices. Both phones were updated to Nougat at the end of 2016, being among the first non-Google devices to receive the new version. Unfortunately, OnePlus has yet to update the OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X to Nougat, and isn't communicating with customers.

The original Huawei Watch, especially after the disappointment of the second model, is one of more popular Android Wear watches. While it was already expected to get Android Wear 2.0, now it seems a later update might enable the watch's NFC chip, for use with Android Pay.

After the public release of the LG Watch Style and Watch Sport, the first watches running Android Wear 2.0, many wondered when the update would reach other watches. Over the past two weeks or so, the update has finally started to roll out, and the LG G Watch R and LG Watch Urbane (1st Gen) are up next.

Comcast is one of the largest internet service providers in the United States, but unlike some of its competitors (such as AT&T), it didn't have a wireless network - until today. In a surprise announcement, Comcast has revealed Xfinity Mobile.

Lenovo's Yoga Book was one of the more interesting hardware launches of last year. It had the form factor of a 2-in-1 laptop, but the bottom panel could switch between a touch keyboard and a drawing pad. At launch, both Windows and Android models were available.

After Fitbit purchased Pebble and killed off its future products, many customers were left wondering how long they had left until their watches became unusable. Putting those fears to rest, Pebble has released an update for its iOS and Android apps, ensuring the watches will continue to work for the foreseeable future.
