Last night, Cricket quietly added the Engage LT to its website for $179.99. Amusingly, with the current set of sales, it's the same price as its older and better brother, the ZTE Engage (no LT in the name). David posted about the ZTE Engage shortly before it released late last year. Neither phone is particularly interesting and both have lower-end specs with mid-range pricing.

In the lead up to registration for I/O 2013, Google wants to make sure everybody is ready for the frenzied ticket grab that is scheduled for March 13th at 7:AM PT. To help prepare hopeful attendees, the company has posted some new details and a few reminders. Like last year, you need both a Google+ account and Google Wallet account to make your purchase. Ticket prices are remaining steady at $900 for general admission and $300 for those that qualify for an academic discount. There's also new information for travel planning, event details, schedules, and child care (a first for I/O), all of which are covered in the FAQ page.
Love 'em or hate 'em, successful franchises will keep coming back. This is especially true when they make for great movie crossovers like Temple Run: Brave and Angry Birds Star Wars. And now, the returning champion of endless runners is back with a new entry, Temple Run: Oz. This is, of course, a mash-up with Disney's new movie Oz the Great and Powerful, opening in theaters on March 8th.
Today is a big day for the CyanogenMod team. First, official nightlies are rolling out for three more devices: the LG Spectrum (vs920), HTC Incredible 4G (fireball), and the GSM Motorola RAZR (umts_spyder). Each of these dual-core phones can start enjoying CM 10.1 right away. For the uninitiated, CM 10.1 is based on stock Android 4.2.x. In an almost superhero-like act, Koushik Dutta (a.k.a. Koush of ROM Manager fame) has pushed his completely rewritten Superuser app to the Play Store just 15 days after first announcing it on Google+. This version introduces several improvements upon the original Superuser. In the last two weeks, the feature list has grown to include fully functioning multi-user support, secure PIN protection, and support for the x86 and ARM architectures. Additionally, the interface has been revitalized with a clean looking Holo theme and a tablet UI.
Verizon's LG Intuition has long been an awkward kid at the lunch table. With a 5" display at 4:3 resolution, it's had a difficult time being accepted, much less competing. Even so, it has not been completely forgotten – Verizon is preparing to roll out a maintenance update to the device that will remove the Color and V Cast apps, fix some assorted bugs, and should improve speakerphone quality. There is one curious detail to this update, it also adds the Amazon Appstore. Are Verizon and Amazon becoming closer friends?
The problem with relying on cloud services is that they are prime targets for hackers. Earlier today, popular note-storing service Evernote acknowledged that it had detected "suspicious activity" on the network. In its blog post, Evernote specified that the intruder(s) had only gained access to account details, including usernames, email addresses, and encrypted passwords. The announcement further clarified that passwords are protected with one-way encryption, a process where a password is first salted and then hashed to make decryption extraordinarily difficult. The company also states that no content (stored notes and pictures) or payment information had been compromised. Aside from email addresses, the wrong-doers failed to get anything particularly valuable.

Thankfully, ESPN has updated its Bracket Bound app to bring fans up-to-date with the latest scores, conference standings, and forecasts for the 75th NCAA Tournament. As before, you can quickly access game results, schedules, player and team stats, video clips, and team-related discussions on Twitter. With this release, ESPN has also added a customizable list of shortcuts in the navigation menu for your favorite teams. But you will have to be signed into your Facebook or ESPN accounts to configure those selections.
