Samsung has been on a roll here lately with the source code releases, and it just dropped the ICS kernel code for the AT&T Galaxy Note. That's definitely good news, because no sooner than the code had landed, the CM team went to work on CM9 nightlies for the device almost immediately and pushed the first one out just a little while ago.

Sprint hasn't been the most secretive about the white version of its EVO 4G LTE, as we've already seen. More than once. Now, though, The Now Network has officially taken the wraps off this white handset, and guess what? It's still two-toned. And To add insult to injury, the kickstand isn't red anymore.

When a new Nexus device is released, there are a few things that can be expected: a new version of Android, a stock user experience, and a certain three ninjas unboxing the device in the most ninja-way possible. These three facts also ring true for the Nexus 7, and this time around the Ninjas are up against more than just each other - UFC welterweight Georges St Pierre takes on the role of Dr. Paul to unbox (and defend) the Nexus 7 in a way that only a badass such as himself can do.

If you've used the official turntable.fm app, then you've probably noticed a couple of different things: firstly, it's awesome. Kicking it in a room and spinning tracks with your homies from your mobile is just rad, and the experience is very similar to that of its desktop counterpart.

We've seen some pretty cool projects show up on Kickstarter: Capta, Pebble, Chameleon, Vavo... and plenty more. Last night, though, one of the coolest projects I've ever seen made its way to the crowd-funded site: OUYA. You may or may not already be familiar with that name, so a little explanation may be in order.

Has been the question on the minds of event-going revolutionaries for many months; it seems time of prophecy is upon us - the Live Nation app is now available in the Play Store.

In Jelly Bean, Google introduced an incredibly useful new feature that allows users to find the source of a notification by long-pressing on it and selecting "app info." This is fantastic for those occasions when notifications are showing up without a clear idea of what is causing it. The problem is, that's only helpful on devices running Jelly Bean (which isn't a whole lot at this point).

Acer Iconia Tab A700 Review: This Is What Meh Looks Like In 1080p

I'm not going to lie: after reviewing the Toshiba Excite 7.7 and declaring the 7(ish)-inch form factor my favorite, it was an incredibly difficult task picking up the A700 and giving it a pure, objective review. It feels clunky, cumbersome, and heavy-as-heck in comparison to the Excite 7.7. Alas, I know there is a market for larger, 10.1" tablets so I've done my best to keep an objective mind with this device because, fact is, not everyone is in love with the smaller form factor the way that I currently am.With that said, let's talk a little bit about the A700. If you didn't already know, it's the big brother to Acer's other Tegra 3 slate, the A510. In fact, spec for spec, it's nearly identical, save for one major feature: the display. Where the A510 has a typical 1280x800 TFT panel, the A700 has an incredibly sharp 1920x1200 display - and it makes a bigger difference than you think, in both sharpness and performance.Unfortunately, a higher res display does not equate a better device in this case. If you didn't already know, I loved the A510; it performs like a beast, gets great battery life, and is buttery smooth all the time. The A700 doesn't even begin to compare, especially where the latter is concerned.

Last night Samsung released the kernel source code for the Verizon Galaxy S III. While it's good that Samsung is making good on timely source releases, this particular bit of code didn't do a whole lot of good in way of GSIII development because of the VZW GSIII's locked bootloader. Fortunately, Team Epic has changed this with a new workaround called kexec hardboot (kernel execution hard boot) that should allow users to effectively "sideload" custom kernels without having to actually flash them on the device by bundling the kernel with the custom recovery.

There's no doubt that Swype is one of the most popular and innovative keyboard replacement apps for Android, albeit for a somewhat niche market. One of the quirks of Swype, though, is that it's basically made for one-handed input, and some users just aren't into that. Enter a new keyboard called Keymonk Keyboard which basically takes the Swype method of text input and modifies it for two-handed input. Check it out:

If a mid-range LTE phone on Verizon Wireless is on your to-buy list, then you've likely considered the new Droid Incredible 4G LTE. Its somewhat of a low-end One variant, but keeps that slick red and black color scheme of the Incredible line. While the display and resolution are clearly the weakest link in this device, everything else under the hood is sure to zoom along nicely:

When Jelly Bean was announced, it's as if you could hear the entire Android community speak in unison: CM10! Anyone who has been around the block a time or two knows, though, you just don't ask for ETAs on CM builds. Of course, it wouldn't really matter if you did at this point - the JB source code isn't even available yet. However, the CyanogenMod Team took the time to address many of the questions on everyone's minds on their G+ earlier today, and we have to admit - it all sounds pretty good.
