All Hexage Games 50% Off Until Monday

There's no question Hexage's Android games are state-of-the-art - in fact, EVAC was #1 on our list of non-Angry Birds games - but there are those of you reluctant to spend your hard-earned cash on a game for your phone.

In an effort to alleviate that stress, the game development firm has cut the prices of each and every one of its games in half until Monday, January 3rd. As a reminder, Hexage is the company behind the following games.

PSA: There Are Some Trojans In Some Apps... Somewhere. Remain Vigilant, Friends.

I've been avoiding this one for a few days because it doesn't really seem like much of an issue to me, but it hasn't gone away, so I've changed my tune. Maybe this post will help somebody from getting a Trojan - and that has to count for some brownie points or something, right?

For the past few days, security-app maker Lookout (who you may remember for their App Genome Project) has been warning folks about a new AndVirus (yeah, just made that up) they've found called Geinimi.

[Review] Super Drill Panic Takes You Back To 1992; Also, The Center Of The Earth

A new round of games that incorporate one of my favorite Android services, OpenFeint, has recently been released. We've gotten our all-too-idle hands on several of these games and, let me tell you, some impressive things are being brought to the table.  While flipping through the games and wasting all of my time, one game stuck out to me. Maybe it was the nostalgic feel of it. Maybe it was the Indiana Jones throwback feeling of it.

[Comic] Plan: Buy Nexus S, Write Awesome Android App.

If you're ever looking for a good webcomic, look no further than Abstruse Goose. Case in point: today's Nexus S comic. There's not much to say about it, so here it is:

Rovio_is_pure_evil

Bonus lols: the image name is "Rovio_is_pure_evil.PNG."

Probably safe to say we've all been in a similar situation - which is pretty good for Rovio.

Dungeon Defenders: First Wave Just Released To Market, PvP Arena Announced!

It's certainly been a good few days for Android gaming, hasn't it? And it looks like the trend is still going: the hotly anticipated Android version of popular iOS game Dungeon Defenders has just landed in the Market with a holiday price of $3. What makes the game so great? Aside from the fact that it's powered by the Unreal engine (!) - which means the graphics are superb - it's long been one of the best-rated iOS games on the market.

ZENONIA 2: The Lost Memories Hits The Market, Ready To Take Your RPG Dreams To The Next Level

Happy holidays, RPG fans! If you're rocking an Android device, you're in luck - GAMEVIL has just let ZENONIA 2 loose into the Android Market, complete with retro graphics, PvP, and of course, a dark plot conveyed in text that looks like it came from a typewriter.

zenonia2

Judging by what I've seen in the short time I've had to play with it so far, I have no choice but to agree with GAMEVIL's claim that the game is "enhanced in every aspect compared to the original." In addition to the aforementioned retro graphics, PvP, and dark plot, your character can belong to one of four classes ("Paladin," "Shooter," Magician," and "Warrior"), and the gameplay spans 152 maps, 98 quests, and three different levels of difficulty.

The iOS mega-hit Jet Car Stunts is now live in the Android Market! That's right, True Axis has finally brought the smash hit to the Android platform, with plenty of OpenFeint goodness thrown in for good measure.  For those who don't know of the game, it's a 3D driving masterpiece where your opponents are not other player so much as the tracks themselves. There are huge jumps, crazy stunts, and great wrecks.

All EA Mobile Games Just $0.99 Today For Holiday Sale

If you've been holding out on buying any EA Mobile games, today's your lucky day - they're all priced at just $1. Oddly, we've heard no official word of this from EA themselves (rather, just an anonymous tip), so we have no idea how long the sale will last. A look at the Market confirms it to be true, although AppBrain takes a bit to update, so only two of the four titles show the sale price as of writing.
