MSI and BlueStacks bring Android games to desktops with support for 240fps

MSI and Android emulator BlueStacks positioned themselves as an alternative for Android gamers when they announced their collaboration on the MSI App Player back in June 2018. Even though Android code doesn't run natively on desktop machines, the developers claim speedier performance than on a Samsung Galaxy S10. Now, MSI has announced that the App Player will be able to display games in 240 FPS on supported hardware, a first in the Android world.

[Update: Officially released] Premium platformer Grimvalor now in early access on the Play Store

Grimvalor is a popular mobile hack and slash platformer that was originally released on iOS at the end of 2018. Stadia gets Ubisoft's just-announced Uplay+ subscription

You can say what you want about Google Stadia – the company has the chance to disrupt the gaming industry and make video games more affordable for everyone. And the stars point towards a good launch as a surprisingly large number of AAA game developers jumped on the bandwagon and announced that they're supporting the platform. Now, Google has stated that it's also bringing Ubisoft's brand-new $14.99 subscription service Uplay+ to Stadia in 2020.

Bethesda reveals Commander Keen for mobile, and fans are already upset

Bethesda’s E3 2019 show has revealed the first look at the return of Commander Keen, a platforming series that started its life as a DOS game back in 1990. It was one of id Software’s earliest titles, and its corpse has been resurrected by ZeniMax Online Studios (a subsidiary of ZeniMax Media, Bethesda's parent company) as a free-to-play reinterpretation of the series for mobile. As you can imagine, fans aren't very pleased.
