HBO Max adds button to skip intros and promos on select shows (APK Download)

AT&T/WarnerMedia's latest streaming service, HBO Max, was released to the general public on May 27th. While it does have a large library of shows and movies, it has been criticized for its lack of features, most notably the ability to skip show intro scenes — something Netflix added in 2018. It took a few months, but HBO Max has finally fixed that issue.

YouTube Music is testing charts in the Explore tab

For a long time, YouTube Music featured a near useless Hotlist tab that collected a few trending music videos you may or may not care for. The developers have long replaced it with the much better Explore section that gives you a personalized selection of new albums and singles, playlists, genres and moods, and more. This experience is in for a small facelift some Redditors have spotted: Apart from a slightly revised design, the new page now features charts for them.

Microsoft Defender for Android arrives on the Play Store

It was first reported in February that Microsoft was bringing its Defender anti-virus/anti-malware software to Linux and Android, and now the app has appeared on the Play Store as a software preview. It's only available to enterprise customers with a valid Microsoft 365 E5 license, but the app description gives a clear picture of what it's intended for.
