If you aren't already familiar with Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy (which was released on Steam last December), then odds are you might remember a little browser-based game called QWOP by the same developer. Snapchat introduces 'Snappables' AR selfie games

Snapchat will soon be gaining a set of augmented reality games called Snappables, Snap announced today. Snappables, which should roll out to Snapchatters later this week, are a new form of interactive Lenses through which users can play together (or by themselves) using AR. Some games can be controlled via more traditional methods like touch, but others can be played using motion and even facial expressions.

Reolink Go is a weatherproof LTE-equipped security camera on Indiegogo

Sometimes it can be hard to get excited about all the smart home gadgets out there. Almost every company seems to have a wireless security camera (just give a search on Amazon), but every once in a while we see something that's actually sort of cool or unique. Today it's the Reolink Go that's caught our eye. It's a 4G LTE security camera with a weatherproof design, rechargeable battery, and optional solar panel. It's currently available for pre-purchase at a promotional price via an Indiegogo campaign, which has already met its funding goal with one month remaining.

Gmail v8.4 adds 'mark unread from here' and prepares fully customizable swipe actions [APK Teardown]

As if Gmail didn't make enough news today thanks to the launch of a new web interface and beginning to roll out the long-long-awaited snooze feature, there's also a new version of the app floating out into the world. It only appears to add one feature to mark a thread as partially unread, but a teardown also reveals that the Gmail team is going to add fully customizable swipe actions.

Amazon brings family-focused FreeTime service to Alexa and launches Echo Dot Kids Edition

Amazon has announced that its child-friendly features and parental controls subscription service is coming to Alexa. Until now FreeTime has only been available on Fire, Kindle, and Android devices, but Amazon is now adding support for Echo speakers. At the same time, the company is also releasing a Kids Edition of the Echo Dot that includes a FreeTime subscription plus a brightly colored protective case.

YouTube 'Remix' reportedly set to replace Google Play Music

Earlier this year we learned about rumors for the upcoming release of a music streaming service named YouTube 'Remix.' According to a recent report by Droid Life, the new platform is going to take over for Google Play Music. YouTube Remix was initially pegged to land sometime this March—the absorption of Play Music was also indicated in an APK teardown in February—but until now there hasn't been much information or confirmation on the subject.
