- SanDisk has put up the new 1TB and 512GB microSD cards for pre-order on its website. Going for $449.99 and $199.99, respectively, both are expected to ship later this month. We'll let you know as soon as you can buy one for yourself.
If you find that today's largest microSD cards just aren't enough for you, SanDisk has you covered. The company just announced the 1TB Extreme at MWC, a ridiculous amount of storage in a tiny, tiny form factor. It won't come cheap, though, ringing it at a staggering $449.99 MSRP.
For that money, you get that insane amount of storage for whatever it is you want to store with read speeds of up to 160MB/s (and write of up to 90MB/s). This is thanks to Western Digital's advancements in fast flash technology.
You can pick up the SanDisk Extreme 1TB UHS-1 microSDXC card for yourself in April. There will also be a 512GB version available with the same read speed for $199.99, too.
