The books on Cyber Monday 2023 are almost shut, and if you're looking to take advantage of the best phone deals we've seen all year, you better get on it, because there's less than six hours remaining! Whether you're after an affordable budget device at insta-buy prices or one of the latest and greatest Android phones without breaking the bank, this is your last chance of the year. (Well, honestly, it's your last and best chance between now and next summer.)

A number of smartphone deals have sold out at one or more retailers, such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, OnePlus 11, and OnePlus Nord N30 5G. Many, many others are either sold out on particular colorways or back ordered clear into the new year, but you can still get these phones at their lowest prices to date if you hurry now. With Cyber Monday deals from Best Buy and Amazon all ticking down to midnight (Central and Pacific, respectively), these are your best options for saving some cash on a phone before these deals turn back into pumpkins.

This deal is so good, it's actually completely sold out at Amazon, but Best Buy still has some available.

Google Pixel 7a
Best deal under $500
$374 $499 Save $125

The Pixel 7a's normal $500 price point is on the high end for a mid-range phone; now that it's down to $375, it's a clear winner for anyone looking for anyone looking to upgrade on a budget. With the same Tensor G2 as the Pixel 7 Pro, a perfectly proportioned 90Hz screen, wireless charging (at long last), and Google's simplified UI and delectable Feature Drop updates, this is a phone that won't leave you hanging — unless you live near a dead zone on your carrier's network.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

Best foldable deal right now
$1000 $1800 Save $800

The Z Fold 5 is now the best foldable deal around thanks to a huge $800 discount from Best Buy, so long as you're willing to activate the phone today. If that doesn't appeal, Amazon has $500 off — and has nearly sold out — while Samsung will give you up to $1,000 in trade-in credit.

Google Pixel 8
$549 $699 Save $150

The normal Pixel 8 might miss out on the fancy telephoto camera and some of the new photo-editing fancy that Google touted during the launch event, this Pixel is the perfect size and price for most folks. In fact, I'm having a hard time myself not taking an old Pixel and trading up to one despite having a perfectly good Galaxy S23 sitting next to me as I type this.

Our favorite Android phone

It's no stretch to call the Google Pixel 8 Pro the best Pixel Google's ever made, with some truly stunning processing and editing features leveraging the Tensor G3 chipset and subtle refinements to its design that make it easier to hold and use for hours upon hours at a time. Launching the day after October's Prime Days, this is the first actual discount we've seen on the Pixel 8 Pro, which makes now the perfect time to buy.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G
$325 $450 Save $125

The Galaxy S54 is a mid-range master, offering a bright 120Hz screen, excellent design, and long-lasting battery life for only $325 today. We've only seen it drop lower than this once before, and if you need a new phone right this second without dropping a mortgage payment on it, this is the one to buy.

Moto Razr (2023) in Summer Lilac, closed and opened
Motorola Razr (2023)
$500 $700 Save $200

Skip the shatter-prone and slippery glass-backed phones for the rich, tactile feel of vegan leather on the most insanely-discounted Motorola Razr. Yes, the Razr+ is on sale, too, but a $500 flip phone with no carriers or trade-ins involved is kind of insane to see. The cover display may be small, but the inner screen is a treat to use, and the color options here are divine. Just look at that purple!

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

Now that the initial Black Friday discount of $200 has died down, the just-launched-three-weeks-ago Galaxy S23 FE is only $150 off, putting the normal S23's "deal" price to shame. Larger than the normal S23 and smaller than the S23+, this Goldilocks of a light flagship has all the get-up-and-go your gaming and app multitasking needs while costing half the price.

Google Pixel deals

Every recent Pixel phone except the 6a is on offer for Black Friday, and they're all pretty tempting. Most excitingly, we have the first major discounts on the Google Pixel 8 series, with $150 off the regular Pixel 8 and $200 off the price of the Pro. Those are steeper discounts than we were expecting and are deep enough that we definitely recommend buying an 8 over the more heavily discounted Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

Yes, the Pixel 7 series are back to their lowest non-carrier prices ever — $450 and $650, respectively — and they are still decent smartphones, but the Pixel 8 series has better connectivity and will get system and security updates for twice as long as the now-year-old Pixel 7. In addition, the Pixel 8 finally has a 120Hz screen, and the Pixel 8 Pro features an impressive array of new camera sensors and editing features.

The Pixel Fold has a meaty $400 discount, though to be honest it's not the foldable we'd recommend you buy this Cyber Monday - either the OnePlus Open or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will do you better.

With the Pixel 6a now in dwindling supply, Prime Day's $250 Pixel 6a hasn't returned, which leaves us with the Google Pixel 7a. The Pixel 7a finally went down to $400 during the October Prime Days event, and has now dropped further to $374 for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Samsung Galaxy deals

While the Pixel 7a raised its price up to $499 this year, the Samsung Galaxy A54 kept to $450, and, as a result, it's been a much more competitive price over the last few months. We watched it hit $300 during Prime Day Part 2, though the Cyber Monday discount is slightly more modest at $325.

Moving onto the flagships, there are deep discounts on the Galaxy S23 series. Right now, you'll save $100 on an S23, $200 on an S23+, and $300 on the S23 Ultra - clearly bigger is better for Samsung fans.

Foldable discounts have been a little slower this fall compared to last year, but you can expect $200 off the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and $500 off the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

OnePlus deals

Speaking of the OnePlus Open, as it only launched three weeks ago, its Cyber Monday deal isn't huge, but if you combine OnePlus's discount with a decent trade-in, you can get the phone for as little as $500. It's a minimum $200 trade-in for any phone in any condition, and that includes your old broken Nokia 3310, so get out an old phone and get into the best foldable phone on the market - or swap in something more recent for as much as $1,000 back from the trade-in plus a further $200 discount.

The OnePlus 10T seems largely sold out, which isn't too surprising considering how deeply it was discounted during Prime Day, but now that the OnePlus 11 has been out for most of the year, it's getting some sexier sales. It hit $550 for the 8+128GB model, but that's now sold out at both Amazon and OnePlus — head to Best Buy if you want that version — or other retailers still have a 16+256GB model at $630.

Cameras here are a noticeable step down from Google and Samsung, but with the fastest charging in North American smartphones, excellent screens, and thoughtful features, the OnePlus 11 can be compelling at the right price this Cyber Monday.

Budget phone deals

We've already mentioned them before, but the de facto phones to grab during Cyber Monday on a "budget" are the Pixel 7a and Samsung Galaxy A54. (Although I'd argue at a $500 normal price, the Pixel 7a is firmly mid-range.)

Outside of those two and the OnePlus Nord, the budget space is Motorola's time to shine. The Moto G Stylus (2023) and G Play (2023) are down to $150 and $100 respectively, which is about as cheap as a phone gets these days.

As we've covered, Cyber Monday is truly the best time to pick up a budget device, saving cash on a phone that was already priced well below top-tier flagships.

When is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday is today, November 27! Congrats, you made it to Cyber Monday, just don't let the day — and the deals — end before you get what you want.

Black Friday was November 24, but the phone deals started trickling out around Halloween. The best phone deals would traditionally be on November 24-27 — Black Friday to Cyber Monday — but this year the deals came sweeter and earlier than ever.
