Unless you've been living under a rock, you might have heard a thing or two about Samsung's latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S9 and S9+. The South Korean tech giant unveiled its iterative new devices at a swanky event during MWC 2018 in Barcelona a few weeks ago, and with pre-orders already shipping (some with the wrong SIMs), the phones are available to buy in stores across 70 countries from today.

As David pointed out, the new Galaxy S phones aren't especially exciting, despite being excellent overall. Right now, the S9+ is probably the best Android phone you can buy and has a camera to rival even the Pixel's brilliance, so Samsung can expect strong sales numbers over coming weeks. For more on specs and features, take a look at Santosh's in-depth explainer.

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are now on sale in Korea, the US, Canada, China, and all over Europe, plus 110 more regions will get stock by the end of the month. The SRP of the smaller Galaxy S9 is $719.99 in the US, and the larger S9+ with its dual cameras goes for $839.99, which is cheaper than we were expecting.
