No one likes waiting, so it's no surprise that mobile ordering has taken off in the past few years. Nearly every restaurant chain has a mobile app, but not everyone wants to waste storage space, so Dunkin Donuts has worked on another solution. If you have a DD Perks Rewards account, you can now place orders straight from Google Assistant.

To set it up, you have to say "talk to Dunkin Donuts" on Google Assistant and connect your DD account. Then you can pick which location you want to order from, select something from your recent orders, and confirm the purchase. Like many other ordering services running on Assistant/Alexa, you can't make a new order from scratch.

Once you make the purchase, the estimated driving time calculated by Google Maps will be sent to DD, so theoretically the order will be completely ready by the time you get there. Unfortunately, the Assistant app doesn't work on smart speakers, so you still have to pull out your phone to buy Munchkins.
