Unsurprisingly, Blu has announced another new phone. The company's latest flagship, the Vivo X ticks almost all of the buzzwords when it comes to smartphones: octa-core CPU, quad cameras, an 18:9 display, and an attractive price point.

Blu wants people to pay special attention to the camera setup. The "Super Selfie configuration" features a 20MP IMX376 with a f/2.0 aperture paired with an 8MP 120° wide-angle lens. Along the back, the 13MP cam features phase detection auto- and laser focus, plus a 5MP depth-sensing partner.

Though the MSRP sits at $299, early birds can grab the Vivo X for $249 over on Amazon (despite the PR claiming $199). Whether you decide to buy one is up to you, but I am curious as to how this performs against the $199 Honor 7X.
