We are just mere moments away from the official Google Pixel event, but that hasn't stopped a lot of stuff leaking. Last night, redditor /u/FireYoshiQc posted a flyer from Best Buy Canada that showed a promo offer: buy a Pixel 2, get a free Google Home Mini.

I wouldn't be too surprised about this, frankly, since we're expecting the Mini to cost $49 or so (a perfect price to be tossed in as a freebie). The picture of the flyer shows both the Pixel 2 and the XL, and even though it's in French, the general idea is pretty obvious (my French is quite rusty).

Bear in mind that this is from Best Buy Canada, but seeing this offer here in the States would make sense. Last year, Google tossed in a Daydream viewer with Pixel purchases — I think the cheaper Assistant speaker is a much better offer. I am not sure if this will encourage more people to buy the Pixels, but we'll just have to see.

It's going to be a big day.
