Your phone has a big fancy touchscreen, so why not use it to render some DJ tools? WeDJ was released on iOS last year, and it's just now launched on Android. This app pipes your music collection into a virtual DJ station with support for multiple tracks, audio effects, and more.

The app has a pair of turntables dominating the UI, each of them with an audio track. You can spin them to alter the audio just like the real thing. There's also an automix feature that lets the app mix the next track automatically. One potential drawback with WeDJ is your music has to be stored locally on the device. A similar app from Algoriddim called Djay2 lets you use music you have locally or simply plug into a Spotify account.

WeDJ has a ton of buttons and dials that make little sense to me. People who know about these things seem to be pleased with the app, though. There's also support for physical control stations that connect to the app, but they'll cost a few hundred bucks. The app itself is free to try, then there's a $0.99 in-app upgrade. That goes up to $1.99 in a few weeks.
