Hoping to jump on the recently resurrected unlimited bandwagon, U.S. Cellular has announced its new Total Plans with No Hidden Fees. This means that each plan has no activation fees, no monthly device connection charges, and no upgrade or overage costs. Better yet, there is now an unlimited data option which means we have one more to add to our list.

Customers can now choose between 2GB, 6GB, and unlimited data per month. Here's the breakdown in a handy little graphic:

So for $60 a month (with auto-pay), you can get a single line with video streaming (480p SD), hotspot capability (no limit given), and free calling to our neighbors Canada and Mexico. After every line on the account reaches 22GB, you will be throttled to 2G speeds.

On the other hand, either of the data bucket options is specific to each line on the account — which means no sharing data. As is usual fare, U.S. Cellular is encouraging people to sign up with multiple lines by offering discounts. Payment plans for devices are also available in 20-, 24-, and 30-month agreements. All of this is open to new and current customers alike. Be sure to check out the press release below if you're interested.
