Black Friday and Cyber Monday may have come and gone, but tons of great deals are still out there. Case in point: ASUS's photography-oriented ZenFone Zoom is on sale from both B&H and Newegg for $199. That's the same deal that ASUS offered on Black Friday, and a whopping $200 off its MSRP of $399, effectively making the phone half-price.
It seems like such a long time's passed since the ZenFone Zoom was revealed, but it was actually released in February of this year. That same month, Jacob wrote a review on the Zoom, declaring that it would still be a great phone even without the 3x optical zoom, its most prominent feature. Spec-wise, this phone is still powerful; it packs a 5.5" 1080p display, a 2.3GHz Intel Z380, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a microSD slot, a 13MP camera with the aforementioned 3x optical zoom, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 3000mAh removable battery. You'll also get a pair of "ZenEar" earbuds, as well as a phone strap (remember those?) in the box.
Both B&H and Newegg are offering the Zoom at this $199 price point (well, technically, Newegg is charging $0.99 more). Since this phone is unlocked, you'll be able to use it on any GSM carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, etc). It's unclear when B&H's deal will end, but Newegg's will cease on Monday, so don't wait too long if you're interested.
