If you've forgotten about ASUS's ZenFone Zoom, I don't blame you. After it was announced in January 2015, it took over a year for it to be launched in the good ole US of A at a not-unreasonable price of $399. Now though, you can pick one up from B&H for $35 less than the MSRP and get a ZenWatch 2, a $50 B&H gift card, and a 10,050mAh battery thrown in at no extra cost.
Our own Jacob reviewed the ZenFone Zoom back in February and walked away impressed with its camera capabilities. Although the 3x optical zoom makes for an unsightly bulge on the back, it definitely gets results. Worried about the Zoom's ZenUI skin having unnecessary crapware? Don't, as the Marshmallow update ASUS pushed to it around two months ago debloated the device quite a bit. Keep in mind that this thing has the higher-clocked Intel Z3580 at 2.3GHz, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, so it's no slouch in the specs department.
The ZenWatch 2 included is equipped with the larger 1.63" display, a rose gold finish, and a gray band. It's still one of the only Android Wear devices to feature a speaker, so if blasting tunes from your watch is your kind of thing, you're all set. Ryan reviewed the ZenWatch 2 around a year ago and thought it was very good for its MSRP of $139. It is worth noting that the ZenWatch 2 isn't for sale by any official outlets (including B&H) anymore.
Other niceties packaged in this deal are a $50 B&H gift card (self-explanatory, I think) and an ASUS ZenPower 10,050mAh portable battery pack that retails for $24.99 (available in black, silver, blue, and pink).
All things considered, this is a pretty amazing deal. You get a nice phone, a great smartwatch, a cool $50 to spend at B&H, and a sizable battery pack for less than $400. If you're interested, the link provided will automatically enter the code. Should you need to manually enter it, the code is "ZOOMWATCH" to get the $200 discount. Shipping is free, and if you're near NYC, you can also pick it up at their store there.
