If I had a dime for every photo editor I come across on Android, I'm sure I'd easily have a couple of thousand bucks by now. But Aviary is slightly different. It was acquired by Adobe in 2014 because of its large selection of filters and effects, and the company has been enhancing it since: Material Design, free and premium features, and so on. The latest updated to version 4.8.0 brings 3 new interesting features and improves on an existing one.

First, there are more font options for text layers in Aviary, courtesy of Adobe Typekit. So expect to see more high quality typographies on photos edited within the app. Second, there's a new transform tool to change the perspective on photos. I often use that in Photoshop on my computer and I know it can be handy when your framing isn't exactly like you want it. For documents, landscapes, buildings, and various kinds of photos, being able to skew or fix one angle or alignment can make all the difference between a mediocre shot and a fantastic one.

Left and Middle: Recipe Export. Right: Transform tool.

And third, you can now view the different steps taken by other Aviary users to get their final photo and clone them onto one of yours. Aviary calls is Recipe Export, and it's surely a nice way to find out what magic mix resulted in such cool shots.

Three BIG new features!!!

-You asked and we heard! Tons more Font options are now in the Text tool, powered by Adobe Typekit.

-Recipe Export. See an edited photo you like from the Explore feed? Automatically apply its recipe to one of your own photos with Recipe Export.

-Change the perspective of your photo with the all new Transform Tool

Aviary is free in the Play Store and version 4.8.0 is already live there, but you can also get it from APK Mirror if you prefer that.
