What's this? These aren't Android devices, true, but Chromebooks will very soon run Android apps. Thus, you might want to know there are two new Chromebooks on sale in the Google Store today. Customers in the US and Canada can pick up the Acer Chromebook 14 or 2016 refresh of the Chromebook 11 right now.

The Chromebook 14 (above) is one of the nicer "budget" Chromebooks we've seen. It has an aluminum chassis with a slim profile, a 1080p LCD, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a quad-core Celeron chip. It should be able to handle moderate computing tasks. This device is going for $299.99.

If that's too spendy, the new Acer Chromebook 11 (below) might be the right fit. It's small, obviously, with a 1366x768 resolution LCD, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a chunkier plastic build, and an older dual-core Celeron. It's not going to be the best computer, but it's only $179.99.

Both products are shipping immediately from Google's warehouses. Remember, they both come with 100GB of Google Drive storage free for two years too.
