Slacker Radio's developers are no slackers when it comes to reinventing the app and redesigning it. Over the last three years, they've gone through one and then two major redesigns, and now they're ready for the third along with a major update to their audio catalogue.

The app's interface has seen a big redesign with larger play actions and simplified My Music and Offline sections. But the biggest change is the introduction of new original content to complement Slacker's music and audio offerings.

There are 12 new shows to enjoy including "Artist DNA" which delves into what makes the major artists of our times tick, "Count-Up" which goes through the top 100 songs ranked by Slacker listeners, "I Am The DJ" where artists curate their own stations, and more.

WHAT'S NEW

Here's what we've changed in order to make Slacker users happier:

Play actions are larger, making it a breeze to find and play your favorite stations while on the go (because multi-tasking is an art form )

Our original content (interviews, countdowns, etc.) has been moved to the forefront, so you’ll always know what's new

The My Music and Offline sections have been streamlined, allowing for quick access to whatever you’ve saved or downloaded

It’s now easier to Sign In & Sign Up. Boom.

There's also an improved registration and login experience. Slacker Radio is free on the Play Store and probably worth a try if you're still looking for an Internet Radio app and the others haven't worked out for you.
