The HTC 10 has a lot of smartphone fanatics excited, HTC enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Those who pre-ordered the high-end device won't have to wait too much longer, at least not in the United States. That's according to the official HTC USA Twitter account, which, well, ought to know:

We've got good news: if you pre-ordered an #HTC10, they've now started shipping. We're fulfilling orders as they were received.

— HTC USA (@HTCUSA) May 4, 2016

Presumably that's specifically for orders made on HTC's own online store, which at the moment is only selling pre-orders for unlocked (compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile bands) and Verizon models of the HTC 10. Both options come in black or silver, with the only capacity set at 32GB for the $699 model. If you've made a pre-order before now, check your HTC account page - it might have shipping information available already.

The HTC 10 is also in pre-order status from Verizon, which is selling it a bit lower at $648 with installment options. Sprint will release the phone on May 13th for $624, and T-Mobile has only committed to a vague "May" release. AT&T won't sell the phone at all, so customers' only option is the unlocked model.
