Google is always making little changes here and there that aren't worth going into detail on, but you add up enough little changes and baby, you got a stew going. Er, I mean a post. A blog post... like this one. At any rate, the Google+ app has been updated to v7.7 and the web got a feature update a few days ago.

On the web side, there are a lot of miscellaneous bug fixes and accessibility improvements.

Hovering over images to get the popup is the only real user-facing change. It will show up over the coming days, most likely. The app update comes with a real changelog.

  • 19 bugs fixed
  • 7 accessibility issues addressed
  • Updated "new posts" notification
  • Chrome tab pre-connect to further speed up Web pages
  • Changed info icon to ABOUT text on profile
  • Updated create and edit Collection features

Left: Old, Right: New

You might notice web pages load faster, but that's happening behind the scenes. There's also a new style of the "New posts" notification. It's at the top and red now. The collections changes appear to just be tweaked layouts and slightly larger photos. So, that's all the G+ news we've got. The updated app is on APK Mirror if you want it.
