Time zones can be a harsh mistress, especially when there's a big phone announcement on the other side of the planet. Thus, the LG G5 was announced on an inconvenient Sunday morning for those of us in the US. If you were unable to catch the festivities, now you can relive it on YouTube.

The announcement is hosted by LG's mobile president and CEO Juno Cho, and features a full rundown of the G5's features. There's also plenty about the G5's "friends" (all the accessories and attachments), a few awkward videos, and some dubstep. The announcement is pretty lengthy at 40 minutes, but they demo most of the "friends" in LG's new Playground ecosystem.

MWC is just getting started, so we'll have more info about the LG G5 as additional details emerge.
