Few would be surprised to hear that the Xperia Z5, Sony's latest flagship, would eventually get Android 6.0. The question is when that update will arrive.

Well, the Sony Mobile UK Twitter account has sent out a date. In response to a question, Sony Mobile tweeted out March 7th as the day the Xperia Z5, Z3+ (the Z4 outside of Japan), and Z4 Tablet would start receiving Android 6.0.

Note, the account says it will confirm the timing when the update is ready, so this date may not be set in stone. For now, the software remains available in beta. Folks who cannot wait are welcome to become Sony Concept users and test out Marshmallow beforehand.
