Google's always experimenting with new ways to drive app downloads, and the latest involves a layout tweak in the Play Store device client. Some users are seeing app videos stuck right in the main page layout, which really stand out amidst all the thumbnails.

The videos are just the ones you'd see if you visited the app's full listing, but out there for all to see in the main Play Store UI. The examples we've seen so far are for both free and paid apps. It's hard to know from a handful of tips if Google is rolling this out en masse or if it's just a test that people have noticed.

Check your Play Store—you might already have it and not realize. For what it's worth, no one at AP has this on their devices yet.
