Skype means business, and towards the end of the summer, it let people sign up to test a preview of the upcoming Android app. That testing period is over. The official Skype for Business app is now available in the Play Store.
Skype for Business places an emphasis on work-related Skype tasks. It's all about seeing upcoming meetings, keeping up with old ones, and quickly pulling up the contacts that may have attended them.
The app replaces Lync 2013 and shows up in the Play Store as version 6.0. Highlighted features include a better in-call experience and a full-screen video interface for meetings.
