Chrome 47 is now in the Play Store. This stable build is the end result of all of the development we've watched over the past few months.

We detailed changes as they popped up, with one nice feature being the addition of a snackbar that appears at the bottom of the screen when you complete a download (pictured above). Other features in development for Chrome 47 included a splash screen for web apps and support for theme theme-color attribute without merging tabs and apps.

This release also tackles a bug that left weird artifacts on the right edge of the screen.

If the update hasn't hit your device yet, you can get it from APK Mirror. Just keep scrolling.

Rather than wait for Google to push this download to your devices, which can take days, download and install it just like any other APK.
