After winning 5 Emmys at the 2015 Emmy Awards for its original series Transparent, Amazon announced that it would celebrate by slashing the price of a Prime membership. Given that these were the 67th Emmys, the price Amazon set is $67, down 32% from the usual $99.The deal is now live on Amazon, but it looks like it will only work on accounts with no currently active Prime membership, so you won't be able to top off your existing one with 12 more months. Here's what you see if you try ordering it from an account that already has Prime:

And then here's what you're supposed to see when it works out for you:

The deal became active today, Friday September 25th, at 12:00am ET, and will last through 11:59pm PT, so you only have one day to make up your mind on whether or not you want Prime in your life. Of course, this includes free 2-day shipping on Amazon items, along with access to Amazon's music, books, movies, TV, and cloud storage. It should also let you catch up on Transparent's excellent first season and then grab the second season when it premieres on December 4th.
