Should you step across an international border, most carriers seize the opportunity to nickle and dime you into oblivion, but T-Mobile has a different take on things. Simple Global makes most services free or very cheap in supported countries, and the carrier is adding 20 more locations to the program today. Remember, this is only for Simple Choice postpaid customers, no prepaid subscribers need apply.
The Simple Global expansion covers 20 countries and "destinations." In this case, destinations are British-owned islands that aren't their own independent countries, but have effective autonomy. Here's the full list of new Simple Global locations.
Caribbean countries:

European countries:

- Albania

- Bosnia
- Liechtenstein
- Macedonia

European destinations:

Non-European countries:
- Azerbaijan

Simple Global locations support unlimited 2G data and texts, but calls are still $0.20 per minute. That's still cheaper than other carriers by a long shot, though. T-Mobile's Mobile Without Borders (shown on the map above) is a different program that's only available in North America. That program includes LTE, calls, and texts at no additional charge.
