The Dropbox app got much more attractive a few months ago, but it has continued to lack some pretty basic file management features. In the latest beta, which you can grab from APK Mirror, Dropbox finally gets one of those features we've been longing for—batch operations. Yes. Well, mostly yes.
Here's the full changelog for v22.214.171.124.
- Select multiple files at once to easily perform batch actions!
- Now you can copy any file or folder in your Dropbox.
- We renamed Favorites 'Offline files,' but kept the same convenient functionality: Access Offline files on the go, even without a connection.
You can select multiple files by long-pressing on one. This brings up check boxes along the right of the column. This lets you handle the main functions in a single step. Batch operations are currently restricted to moving, deleting, and marking files for offline sync. It's just missing an export option. The new build will probably show up in the Play Store before long, but feel free to sideload it now.
