Welcome to the latest entry in our Bonus Round series, wherein we tell you all about the new Android games of the day that we couldn't get to during our regular news rounds. Consider this a quick update for the dedicated gamers who can't wait for our bi-weekly roundups, and don't want to wade through a whole day's worth of news just to get their pixelated fix. Today we've got a beautiful circular puzzler, an equally beautiful runner game, and an old-school platformer. Without further ado:

The Path To Luma

The Path to Luma is a zen puzzle game where every stage is a self-contained planet, a la The Little Prince. You play a tiny Android who walks around the various planetoids, fixing up the place in the name of your benevolent overlords. While the game has only 20 levels, the variety is stunning, and it doesn't hurt that the low-poly 3D graphics look fantastic. The Path to Luma is free with no in-app purchases.

SAM, our galaxy-traversing Sustainability Augmentation Model, needs your help on a mission to save the galaxy and the Chroma civilization. Explore and manipulate wondrous worlds to unlock the life-giving sources of clean energy hidden within each planet. Powered by NRG, The Path to Luma (TM) is a free adventure puzzle game with no ads or in-app purchases. Play as SAM, an android sent by the Chroma civilization to save the abandoned planets of their galaxy, and fulfill a quest to harness the power of clean energy.

Cartoon Survivor

As a fairly standard runner game, Cartoon Survivor doesn't offer a whole lot in the way of innovation: swerve and jump to dodge obstacles, tap and hold to fly, collect as many pickups as possible, you get the idea. But the incredibly colorful and expressive graphics make the game a cut above its competition. You play a dodo frantically running through an Origami jungle, trying not to be stabbed, flattened, drowned, or eaten. Minimal in-app purchases offer visual customization and a few powerups.

Cartoon Survivor is a vibrant 3D adventure runner set in a dynamic prehistoric world. You must run, jump and glide your way through hazardous obstacle courses full of feisty creatures like dinosaurs, mammoths, tigers and snakes. Can you help Doo Doo the Dodo bird get to the finish line before time runs out? Doo Doo, cartoon’s bravest idiot, contests the gaming world’s ultimate challenge; Cartoon Survivor.

Dinofour is an exciting, retro-styled, puzzle/platforming adventure. Play as four Dinosaur pals, each with their own unique special ability they must use to solve a series of challenging puzzles. Follow the adorable foursome they embark on an incredible journey to reclaim their lost eggs. Work together to overcome obstacles, defeat enemies and become reunited with your beloved lost eggs.
