  • HTC has posted the full RUU on its support site so you can update without AT&T's help. The ROM is 1.55 GB and installing it will reset the device. Be warned.

HTC's Mo Versi has taken to Twitter to deliver some good news for owners of the Desire Eye on AT&T (yes, there are some of them). The device will be getting its Lollipop update today, which was "tomorrow" when Versi posted last night.

HTC has added that this will be a 5.0.x version and not 5.1. That shouldn't make a huge difference in the case of the Sense-equipped Desire Eye. So, look for that to begin showing up on devices later today.
