Any.do is a to-do list manager, so it makes sense that version 3.0 places an emphasis on managing to-dos. The team has added a grid view that gives you a broader look at all of your lists at once. Picture one for shopping, another for work, and a third for household chores. When you're ready for specifics, you can tap to zoom in and see the items or tasks under each one.
There are now three views available to sort each of these lists: time, list, and priority. The first one can be useful for tracking a project over several weeks, while the latter comes in when you have something important to get done right away. Each list has a + icon that you can tap to add people in on the action.
Other aspects of the app have received some TLC. The Android version has more touches of material design and has learned to accommodate tablets. The software should sync more smoothly across platforms.
To get this version in the hands of more people, Any.do has temporarily reduced the price down to $2.99 a month or $26.99 a year, which amounts to a decent discount.

With Any.do 3.0, we wanted to strike a balance between the kind of birdseye view that keeps you in charge of your future while bringing focus to your everyday tasks that lets you home in on what matters.
With over 150 product improvements we focused on two things - creating fluidity between tasks and lists (both personal and shared) while customizing the views for when you need to take a different lens on your goals. Jump between lists like “Startup ideas” and “Groceries” without missing a beat, while easily looping in the right collaborators at the right time.
Our new Grid View provides a clear look at all of your lists in one place, along with project updates and a quick reference guide for every collaborator involved. Just click on a list to zoom into your tasks and see things in greater detail. Take a different lens on your goals depending on how broad or focused you’d like to be.

Share any list with anyone with ease: Just click on the + icon under the list name and add the people that will help you get a project done. We’ve made our sharing and collaboration features flexible enough so there’s no limit on what you can accomplish with others.

Map out more detailed work projects and share it with your team. Assign tasks, add due dates, attach multimedia content and share notes with the entire group.
Household Chores With The Family
Update grocery lists in real time with your spouse and loved ones. Handle shopping, chores and honey-do’s in your app, and have it instantly synced to everyone else’s list.
Users now have 3 sorting views to choose from - Time, List and Priority. Have a busy day running errands and getting the house in order for your kid’s birthday party? Set your list to Priority view to immediately see everything that needs to get done.
If you’re working on a big work project over the next few weeks, use the Time view to get a grasp on your due dates and project schedule.
Even better, you can now make any list the default list straight from the settings. Default to Work, Family, or any other custom list you need quick access to.
Material Design Upgrades, Design Consistency & New Themes
