Happy Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge pre-order day UK residents! If you've been anxiously fiddling and waiting for Samsung's new flagship to land in your hands, you are now one step closer to fulfilling that goal. Many UK carriers and sellers have started today their pre-orders for the devices, with various offers, bundles, colors, and configurations to choose from. Here are the details.

EE

EE has a page dedicated to the Galaxy S6 where you can see at least 10 buttons to pre-order the phone — just in case you miss one of them — and have it delivered to you on launch day: April 10th. The S6 and S6 Edge are available in white, black, and gold (though the latter isn't guaranteed to be delivered on time), with the S6 in both 32GB and 64GB variants and the S6 Edge only in its 64GB configuration. A "wireless bundle" offer adds £40 for a wireless charger and gives you back a £20 voucher for a Samsung case. Here are all the possible configurations you can pre-order.

Plans are quite intricate, but for 4GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts, the 32Gb S6's prices range from £50 upfront and £43.5 monthly to £10 upfront and £48.5 monthly. Everything goes uphill from there.

O2

O2 has all 3 colors of the S6 (32GB, 64GB) and S6 Edge (64GB) available, but it says the black and white will be delivered from April 10th while the gold variant is to be expected around May 1st. A Fitbit Charge can be redeemed with the pre-order, giving you a £100 value back.

Plans are also quite varied, but you should expect to pay nothing upfront and £48 monthly for 5GB of data and unlimited texts and calls on the Galaxy S6 32GB. The 64GB S6 Edge goes for a higher £10 upfront and £53 monthly on a lesser 2GB data plan.

Vodafone

Vodafone's pre-order pages just went up for the S6 and S6 Edge and they seem to be the only carrier offering the devices in all of their colors and configurations (even in 128GB). Although everything appears "in stock", there are no details on shipping and delivery so you may be able to pre-order the color and storage option that you want but you can't be sure that you'll see it on your doorstep on April 10th.

Expect to shell out £119 upfront and £48.5 monthly for the 128GB Galaxy S6 Edge on a 24-month contract with 4GB of LTE data. On the lowest tier, the 32GB S6 can be had for £49 upfront and £43.5 monthly.

Carphone Warehouse

Carphone Warehouse is a retailer for the various carriers so you will basically find all the options of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge there — colors, storage, and operators. However, only the 32GB and 64GB options in black and white are available for delivery on April 10th, the gold color and the 128GB options are expected in 4 to 6 weeks. Carphone Warehouse is also offering a free £40 wireless charger with both devices.

The tariffs are even harder to look at there because of all the different configurations you can choose from, but CW is advertizing a £160 upfront and £43.5 monthly cost for the 64GB S6 Edge, and £80 upfront and £39.5 monthly for the 32GB S6.

Three

For now, Three hasn't revealed its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge pre-orders. You can only register your interest if you want to buy the phone on this carrier.

So there you have it. The S6 and S6 Edge are getting closer to availability in the UK, the gold color and the 128GB options will ship later, the blue color is nowhere to be seen, the phones are going to cost about a thousand pounds on the smallest plans and for the cheapest configuration, but they might be worth it given the impressive things we already know about them so far.
